I hope Christmas has treated you well. Got hold of a photo. Don't know if it was our RR that sent it anonymous to me. Anyway Santa looks exhausted, and who can blame him a day like this.



As the new year approach I feel it's the right time to announce that there is a lott of changes going on overe here.
We are looking to either build a new house or find one to buy.
We did find some land to buy and build on but city hall put gravel in the machinery so we won't be able to buy or build on it for at least 5 years :@
Biggest reason to get a new bigger house is that we need a bigger one.
Tuva still sleep in our bedroom because we have too few bedrooms, and with one more (due in may) we start to feel the "panic" to get it sorted.

I will be dropping by, but not as frequently as usual. Those of you who keep track has probably already seen this already as I have dropped back in the #100
I'm quite pleased with what I have accomplished here. I have been in the #20 twice. I took a break from the game and dropped from 19 to 800 then worked my way back into the #20.

I'll be seeing you. Just not as often.
I would be lying if I told you that the game performance and the way the forum has turned hade nothing to do with my decision.

Morning M.O.Ms, GAW was busy this past week on his push to make MORAF. I now need 33,706 to level up.

This past week I had 793 kills and 350 deaths for a nice 2.27 kdr. My world rank went from 253 to 245, and I recorded 117 wins.

Planning a big cake party following the happy event. Hope you can all attend.

Yeah, I have the same issue. No, havent emailed zup. I figured hed fix it sometime. I have found if I restart the game Ill have chat for a bit but it just stops suddenly. Other times no matter what I do or where I tap the screen the keyboard will pop up. Then it just keeps popping up and I have to shut the game down anyway. Hope It gets fixed soon. I hate not being able to chat.

First of all, I'd like to wish a happy new year to all who reads this message.
Its been like 3 or 4 months without playing Dogfight, and weeks inactive here on forum. Passing by I saw that many brothers of squad are retiring of action in-game.

Well, after this time offline, I managed to play some matches today. Well, I tried. First, I saw a message that I had to wait 5 minutes to enter in-game. Then, I entered in a game, and it started to lag bad, like dial-up internet times. Well, for my financial reality, paying to play this or that game is completely out of question. I study/work all year to come to relax and what comes to my eye is "pay this, you are awesome"... Please, let me by... I understand the payment point, and so, I leave this for those who are allowed to pay it.

I don't have as much time as I had 6 months ago, and 2015 reserves a lot of business for me... Said this, I am annoucing my retire of Dogfight. Maybe I should search another game, that permit me play "uncapitalisticly"...

I know the M.O.M thread has been "asleep" as of late. I for one will not just let things go. I have no intentions of laying this game down and I hope many of you feel the same.

On the same note I will not have any bad feelings for those that have because I know they can't resist this place. They will be back. Maybe... Hopefully... Alright. Its gonna take a miracle.

Well guys Apple has updated and that's my cue to hang it up. The game has to much lag and I don't see it getting any better . The drama on the forum hasn't help matters either. Like MOMs before me I've downloaded WOTB ,i going there and try my luck. I love this squad and won't forget none of you. I'll be stopping by from time to time just to say Howdy.

I tried to play last night. I entered an empty ffa. Rodama entered and left. The game was in slow motion, not jumpy at all just in slow motion.
I exit and found a timer telling me to wait 6 minutes.
My first thought was "Has he changed the time for autobann, or is that still 5 minutes?"
Looked at WC but didn't find talk about Coops Princess intresting, so I whent to read the forum. I wrot a post to Lunas goodbye and all of you who knows me know that would have taken a lot longer then 6 minutes. Backed out from the forum to the game just to find the timer with 4 minutes to go!
Is this some kind of joke or do you have to look at the nonsense on WC for 6 minutes.

If you don't subscribe you have to wait 6 minutes even if you quit out.You have to stay on the countdown screen.You can't just go for a quick game of wotb and come back.As far as slow motion,i know its been a while but did you try to drop your bombs .You could always remove wc from settings and just watch the clock instead of the drivel.

As far as paying.Do you or don't you.I don't miss 3 beers a year.I know most don't want to out of principal but how this game can continue without revenue i don't know.I see the argument about our lifetime purchase but the small print we signed up for states about change.He could argue that you paid a lifetime for version 2.4.4 etc now we're into 4.#@#@.Anyway i know its a sore subject.
Ultimately the decision is with yourself.But it would be great to see more playing again.
I still hoist the MOM flag high when i play.
Ive never thought of this squad being serious in the way some squads take it which is why i like it and know no other squad would be suitable.I find most here are just old men havin fun in a teenagers environment.

So... if I (who hasn't paid again) instead of looking at the timer press the forum button in the app it'll paus the timer until I back out to WC page again, but if I get an autoban (and have paid again. Otherwise it'll be the 6 minutes countdown like every other non paying player)
for being a jerk (or tasked and deserv an award instead of a ban) ingame, that'll be lifted after 5 minutes despite what I do.

My last plea here MOMrades. I was pissed on first blush about having to go from my lifetime payment of $5 to a monthly of $2.15 (with tax). Not to mention the $60 or so I threw in on airplane upgrades. But then I had to remember the business side of this. DF clearly missed the global contagion levels it should have hit. It under performed and didn't get the investors Joaquin needed. Now his business plan has to change. We could pay a one time $5 for a game that is now unsupported and gone, or we could revise the business plan and pay $2.15 a month for a supported game. Worst case, I pay for ten months to the tune of $21.50 and Echoboom still goes belly-up. I'm out $20, oh well... The game is laggy sure, nothing new there. I think the more people that subscribe the better it will get. The more confident Joaquin will be about limiting the free play to a week of trial then pay to play. Just my $0.02, use it as a down payment on your first month!

I hope his plan dont use subscribers as a part of any pie on the pie graph. I hit the unsubscribe button the other day trying to upgrade. I was upgrading on 3g and tried to cancel. Heh. Im one thats gonna keep paying but now have to wait until my current subscription runs out to do it again.

The one thing I worry about is my outdated device. Now I will pay the price to play a game. But in the future will I have to update my galaxy tab 2 7.0? I wont do that. My phone is also something that was made for 2 months before somebody bought a contract and changed a design. Its a motorola droid razr m. Many other games(when I say many im talking world of tanks blitz) that my friends have left for do not support me. So I got bad luck with electronics. Will this be my future for dogfight too? I tried the facebook deal, wanting to keep up with the times and my current electronics available, and was horrible. Beyond horrible. I played for about half an hour and shot one plane down.........

I guess my point is I can see where many would just hang this up. Hell. I will if I have to go out and buy new electronics. But for now im going to try to adapt and overcome. Game is too good even on a bad day to just hang up. World chat can go(my opinion) trees, monuments, towns, ect... dont care. Screwing around with a few friends, wether M.O.M or not, killing time and having fun is what its about. To me.

I can't play on my phone. The screen us too small. I am using a gen 2 Kindle Fire. I'm also not going to upgrade my device just for the game. However, after 2 faithful years and hundreds of books, it is starting to get a little glitchy. My upgrade decision could factor dogfight a wee bit.

I started on a ipod touch. I was thinking about 2 years ago. Maybe 3. Cant remember. I upgraded once. Not so much for this game but because I wanted to not steal my sons ipad pod ( wich ever the little bitty deal is) when I play on my phone it kinda brings back the old days. I dont shoot at the plane, hell you cant see it, I shoot at the center of the name just above where the bullets are coming from.

Any how. Did you see that flying fish are getting ready to inhabit chicago and screw up the mississippi to atlantic waterway through the great lakes
