The pot is your folks. The spoon is your folks.

Fair enough?

Paul,

My advice would be to collect a large number of weapons, ammunition, and friends. Proceed to challenge those that are picking on you to open warfare, and let your friends and enemies engage in massive internet warfare, survivors win, and winners get cake. No quarter, no survivors.

Or, you can decide that these people are completely irrelevant to the rest of your life, laugh them off, have fun with the people you like, and get CAKE.

On a side note, my playing time will decrease over the next month or so, probably for the rest of the year. I'll still be trying to level up by the year's end, and will probably succeed, but holidays, school, and work will be taking priority here. I'll still try to make plenty of time for the M.O.M thread, but I can't count on averaging more than a couple thousand points a day.

Go PACKERS.

And go M.O.M
You're getting predictable, guys. You can do better, right?

Paul,

I'm not gonna bother looking into this conflict. I have an idea of what's up, and I really want no part of it. I just don't care enough.

I hope you don't either.

I'll support you as a squadmate, because you've given been a better positive influence on more people than almost any other player here, myself included.

Sorry if I accidentally stuck my nose where it didn't belong.

There's petty conflict on the Dogfight forum? Who saw that coming?

After a few months of barely playing the game, several weeks of not playing a minute and the same several weeks of ignoring the entire forum outside the M.O.M thread I can now state categorically that the Dogfight forum is a waste of energy. By stripping away two thirds of the overall DF experience my annoyance level dropped to nothing and my enjoyment of what's enjoyable (this here now thread) spiked up by a few hundred percent.

Anybody want a new banner? I'm feeling the love.

New banner? Like I said, I'll be a part of whatever wacky rough-draft ideas you cook up. If you've got any, feel free to make me your test subject.

Also, I wouldn't mind if it wasn't about grammar nazism. You can come up with something, I'm sure.

So in essence, I'll take some o' that love. But not in a weird way.

It takes alot to tick me off.
I sent pms to certain people to wish them well as MISFIT was getting organized.
For the last month I have been receiving harassing pms from the same people.
The BB post this morning set me off.
I just wish they'd do something to improve DF rather than just try to piss people off.
Attacking Rick's caring for everyone here pisses me off.

They should concentrate their efforts on getting rid of WC scum rather than encourage it. Got the pics.

Sorry, I'm intense with flight right now.

Paul, if someone on the forum is attacking me for any reason I haven't seen it and couldn't care less. As I'm sure must be the case with any such social site this forum is rife with small minded people who thrive on manufactured conflict and divisiveness. I've seen some wildly disingenuous hypocrisy on this forum, nothing here would surprise me. Even a picayune troll without the stones to confront someone one-on-one needs a hobby. Still, thanks for sticking up, Mr. Mantz, I appreciate it.

There's no right or wrong age, Brian. Let him throw you the cues, if he's asking questions and/or expressing curiosity it's a good signal that he's ready for the truth. If he's still buying into the fantasy there's no pressing need to spoil it for him.

Sorry I don't know as much about bankruptcy pros and cons as I do about my gay companion, Santa. I'd make you an offer on the kidney but I doubt that I have the going market price of a late model used coccyx.

My son is 10. I don't quite remember how exactly he found out. He took it pretty well. If I were you I wouldn't tell him. Leave the fun to be had as long as you can. There was a certain amount of excitement for me also that I kind of miss. I do remember my son asking questions about it but I never came out and told him, I let him put 2 and 2 together. Thinking he figured it out by himself might have took some of the shock out of it.

To be honest I still remember when I found out. I didn't take it that good at all...

To be honest, I was never taught to believe in Santa. My parents got me my presents. Oh, the long debates we'd get into with our poor cousins.

Now, Batman, on the other hand.... I still wanna be Batman someday.

When our kids were young my wife and I decided to level with the kids and tell them the true story of Santa. We told them about how Saint Nicholas was a real person who would give gifts. We said that Santa is "real" because it was his spirit of giving that has continued by people following his example. Many friends and family members chastised us for "ruining" Santa for our kids until Christmas morning at the grandparents house when the excited kids yelled from the living room at 5:30 am saying "Look what Santa's ghost brought us!"

Even more magic happened when they understood that they had the power to be "the hand" of Santa for others. It's amazing what kids can come up with when they have the grace of generosity and the power of the truth.

Guys, I'm addicted.

I can't go ten minutes without thinking about it.

Every time I sit down, I have to look at my phone.

I'll soon be a nervous wreck. I won't be able to think of anything else.

Why are there still five days to go???

Packers. Patriots. Lambeau Field. Sunday.

On November 30th, for four hours, I will be selling my soul to the Green Bay Packers.

This is what I get like mid-season. Imagine the Super Bowl?
