I love the Misfits for the same reason. I have spent my adult life looking for the stupid ass line I wasn't supposed to cross. I can't even begin to count the awkward silences that follow some of the funniest things I have ever said. Here is just a taste of how bad I can be. I met a coworker and his wife for lunch one day. We were doing some parking lot patrol searching at car burglars, and his wife was in town for some Xmas shopping.

Me: "How's your Xmas shopping going?"

friend's wife: "Great! Hubby is going to be needing some overtime this month!"

Me: (I take a quick look out the window and spot a clothing retailer that I know nothing about) "To bad your hubby didn't by stock in Lane Bryant (the clothing store I saw)"

What is most disappointing is that members of certain squads really living into the role of a member, I believe there is compensation problems behind. Maybe they are unsure on their role and overcompensates with an aggressive attitude to show they´r the guy who can be trusted because they want to find their place in the unit and deserve respect.

Cricket / Chuck hit the nail when he even brought certain people behaviors with the Peoples Temple, the ultimate way to sectarianism, when do not realize that they´r only a tool for someone else's will ...

My hope is that such expressions and behaviors stops on this forums, in real life we have unfortunately too much of the attitude that characterizes many players.

My hope is that those who are in some form of formal or informal leaders of DF that underpin and reinforce similar behavior has no significant role in their real-life decision-making positions and positions that affect other individuals way of being or thinking.

I see so much misery and behaviors that are directly sick in reality, people who do not intend on themselves or their surroundings, people who do not wish or are prone to mutate into something that can be gracious and sympathetic so that they can become genuinely respected as individuals, no, everything goes out on to exhibit aggressiveness to get someone who they believe is the same as respect.


I want to have it just a game with nice people and a positive exchange between them, others want to see solidarity in a larger perspective, something significant, important worth going over limits.

I apologize if I'm so naïve as to believe that the destructive elements can be protect against , but I want that hope remains in all cases.

Unfortunately, there is a more realistic side of me that says that the way you interact here on DF is just a mirror of what is happening out there in real life ... that you still have to learn to live with all FUKWITHERS whether one want or do not want to live with it

I've been almost completely absent from the game in general lately. I'll try to get back into it completely, but the more I lose connection and get twirled by Hawk Assassin, the more I struggle to get back into the swing. I'll speed back up towards leveling up, I assume, but until then, I'll be in and out. I'll try to make my forum presence consistent.

I sincerely hope he's not but I really don't care if he is. My comments were directed at TX. I didnt think he would sink to the level of schoolchildren and start calling me names, but its cool. By the time I submit this I won't even care anymore. Because this a GAME.
What do people expect to happen when a political subject is brought up on an international forum. They argue their points of view. You know what they say.... if you can't take the heat, then shut the hell up. Imagine how bad it would have been if it had been a religious discussion.

Just fired up a new generation 4 Ipad yesterday that was obtained primarily to play DF. The transition from the small Samsung Galaxy III to the comparatively huge Ipad is going to take some time. I have discovered that my fingers are not long enough.

A big thank you to Tinkerhell for accommodating me on my first game with the new device. I think I made some progress. Its going to take some getting used to but I think it will be worth it.

I am currently 299,240 points from level 31. Won't be this weekend.
