A kill is 50. A death is 50 if you land it. A hangar is 50. A win is 200. I would do the math, but I don't really have time.

I know carrier hits and zeppelins aren't counted, but are they THAT big of a difference?

Just some fun reading for you guys.

It's less cut and dried than that, Mac. Carrier hits aren't shown, neither are zeppelins. Kills generate points but so do deaths if you land safely, stats don't differentiate between those that landed and those that didn't. Killing a lower level player earns 50, killing a MORAF earns...what? 200? Do you still get consolation points for a lost mission? I can never remember, but if you do there's another unquantifiable factor.

I know how many points ahead of Brian I am and we all know that is joke recently passed B. (although how is joke did is beyond me) Unless is joke pulled a couple million points in a matter of weeks is joke isn't even close. Brian has shared some illuminating info about point tallying for Apple users that he knows is also affecting is joke as is joke freely admitted same, it tends to suggest that not only is is joke not catching up with me, I'm pulling even further ahead of is joke. Purely guesswork until is joke posts his stats, mind you. With the ranking and stats mechanisms screwed up as they are nothing makes a lot of sense. Dogfight is joke.

Ah, I was never aware of a discrepency in totalling point regarding the level of player you shot. That, combined with the "Lost game" points, may generate more hidden points than I initially thought. I can't see the difference brunt astronomical enough to cover the entire gap though, we'll see. I was just trying to do the maths, sah.

Whew. A HUGE oversight on my part. I never knew that killing a MORAF earned more points than any other person. I guess I never really paid that much attention. Shucks, the road to MORAF could have been so much smoother if I aimed at them first instead of the red who was closer to me.

In need to pay more attention to this stuff.

Paul, Brian maxed out the first point roof we had at 1.000.000 points and then did it again.

There also used to be a glich where you'd get "you win" "you win" "you win" at the end of a mission. That gave you 3x200 points every game you won.

Today I reached level 28, 10,000 kills, 2000 wins, & 1000 hangars.

The final points for level 28 were knocked outta a zeppelin that was generously donated by the charming, bilingual [TFL]Acegirl. Shout-out to her for her kindness.

Multiple credits for one victory is still how it works, Anders, you just don't see the redundant "you win!" report anymore. When it happens you'll see your points total click over three times, 200 points each. Sometimes two, sometimes only one, it seems to depend on the mission type and on how many other players are in the mission and what color they are. I mean, what side they're on, not their ethnicity. Although assigning point values based on race would make Dogfight relevant in ways it's never been.

I hate to say this. But I'm going to. There are a lot of, so called, good people on this forum that have gone out of there way to make it horrible to read. As a Cowboys fan things here have gotten worse that that whole week after the Redskins game.

There is no smacking hands and good game mentality here. Its hey our guy just won. Let's go rub the other guys name in mud. Gas the fire. Keep stoking it until there is so much smoke that no one can see anything anymore but that and push a lot of good people away.

To me it really is almost painful to watch.

If I had another way to communicate with the M.O.M crew, I would have long since abandoned this drainage ditch.

As it is, I've made the decision to post almost exclusively on the M.O.M thread from here on out.

It's come to the point where if you make 8 logical points, and one illogical one (I'm sorry, my ratio significantly decreased with that one last night), you'll have your first 8 points completely ignored, and any slip-up is labeled, packaged, and shipped off for a week of ridicule.

When one group of people does something, they're loyal friends. When another group does, they're ass-kissers.

I don't need that. So, it's M.O.M (almost) only from here on out.
