Av8rDennis, what's your in-game name? You don't come up in the rankings.

Who pitched Wazzup? And wazzup wit 'im?

I just had a moment with Lesa Two Dots. She and I are now lovers. It was her idea. As Trigger is my witness, it's the truth. Oh, and for the fourth time she declared, "yes I m mom...thank you." Then she said, "I love you". You'll all be invited to the wedding at the Tokyo Econo Lodge. Sputnik, if they quarantine Jimmy at customs I want you to be my best man. I'm a little nervous but I feel surprisingly good. True love with a total stranger half way 'round the world can do that to ya. Ah, l'amour...

Wig, regarding Wazzup, I think it was me. I had a conversation with him not too long ago. He inquired about joining and was very interested. The conversation was cut short due to the game ending but I was only able to direct him to our thread. I could be wrong but I thought there was a conversation on earlier pages about wazzup's induction into the squad.

This is why I'm NOT a MORAF!!

I know what you are saying. She is avid about not letting the guys get airborne at times. When I saw it though we were trying to keep everyone down so others could bomb the base. Never saw her in a Tank before. She doesn't get shot down enough that I see her driving towards downtown Tokyo. Wig may want to reconcider honeymoon plans. :silly: :cheer:

It was in a "dogfight" round. One of my fellow [e]'s sirmarty was there as well. I tried to snap a pic of her in the tank beside the runway but there were too many bullets to fly straight and by the time I had a good view she had won the round with kill #15 from tank to spawn. I'm not mad or even upset just wanted y'all to know so you can do whatever it is you do lol

I know everyone here has an oppinion. Mine is that we not recruit so hard. We have become an extreamly viable entity in Dogfight, basically overnight. Maybe we should let the dust settle around us and see where we are. Let the players come to us. let others see how M.O.M s differ from all the other squadrons. That our values and setting higher standards of fair play by example, are more important than Writen Rules of Play.

So, you wonderful ingrates of M.O.M... Go do your thing of raising hell in-game and having others want to grow up and be just like M.O.M...

Hey Guys,
I am sorry to just join and put M.O.M in front of Av8rDennis without permission. If you wish I can unjoin and go through the correct process. I just did not know there was a process but also ignorance of the law/rules is no excuse. I learned this being LEO for 37 years and now retired as a Lieutenant.
Paul, my Taylorcraft is a 1946 BC-12D. Are you related to the great Pilot that did all the movie stunts?
Thanks for all the kind words from members, they mean a lot to me.
Some of my views on the game are; Spawn killing and shooting one in a parachute are acts of dishonor. I will not shoot anyone just taking off or sitting on the runway getting ready to take off. I believe in a fair fight in the air. I do not like cussing and bashing one. I do have a problem with some name people choose like Nazi.
As of now I am a Group Capt(12) and have be playing since March this year.
This is a fun game, I usually get shot down more than I shoot down. I can't bomb very well.
Once again thanks for all the kind words from members.

I kinda like us becoming more exclusive and much more selective in who we bring aboard. It seems that there are a LOT of MOMs flying (a good thing) but I don't know many of them and have to recheck Scheisse's listing to make sure that they are, in fact, members.

One thing that I will say to some of the newer members - if you see a MOM flying in the same game as you, whether red or blue, holla at them please! I hate going into games and I acknowledge my fellow MOMs and I get ignored. Or spawnkilled. Most of y'all are very friendly, and wouldn't include those of you who post to the thread. But there's a few of you can be a bit more friendlier....

Hi Dennis,
Even though I can only speak for myself, I don't see any problems with you joining us since you understand about the need for proper procedure.
Oh, I used to feel just like you about not shooting someone in a parachute. That is until I was shot down a few times by folks in parachutes. I now can also claim numerous kills from my own parachute. Which is only resonable seeing as how much time I spend in parachutes! :cheer:
The only time I will shoot someone on a runway is if I am coming in for bombing run or to help cover for my teammates coming in for bombing run. Again, I learned this the hard way after having my butt shot off by respawned enemy just I was ever so close to that enemy hanger. Now, low life, spawnkilling tanks are a whole different story. I make darned sure I make mental note of these vermin so that I can single them out in future games to perpetually give them hell from now on until they decide to change their ways.
I do not typically shoot anyone sitting on carrier deck. Or, in a dogfight free for all when they are going in for a landing to reload. I just can't bring myself to do that even though I get shot lots of times when I try to reload. And same thing applies when other pilots are attempting to take off. I do not shoot at them intil they are airborne and can defend themselves, even though this has cost me dearly at times. :)
Steve

EDITED TO ADD; Also, if you do not shoot parachute, you most likely will have a tank to deal with. This can be extremely disasterous if they make it to your base and destroy your hangers.

All Paul's talk had me thinkin bout my smoker. I can't figure out how to decrease the file size of my pics, but I can make a mean brisket, pork shoulder, rack of ribs (babyback, beef, spare or St. Louis), chicken or turkey! In my humble opinion, mesquite is too harsh a wood for tender babybacks, so I typically will use oak or hickory instead. Most purists here in Texas will tell you that salt and pepper are all the seasoning you need, the smoke will do most of the flavoring. I'll make and use a rub that also includes paprika, garlic salt, onion salt and a little cayenne. Either way, they're delicious!

I like elk meat, my grandpa killed an elk in Colorado, I think was where it was. (whose mounted head/"shoulders" take up more room than his two mounted deer take together) It was what? 1,100 lbs or so, good stuff it would make Alton Brown with his Good Eats show cry tears of joy
It tastes like a good fatty meat, but it's got almost no fat on it, and it's got enough flavor to start parties without the fat. so low fat dieters can have their delicious meat, and eat it too.

It makes nice burgers.

I have never smoked an Elk, but would be willing to try. Might need a bigger smoker though....

I have also used apple wood to smoke chicken and pork roasts, and I agree that it gives a nice flavor, though a bit milder than either oak or mesquite. I have also grilled fish with the apple, and that's turned out pretty tasty too! The problem here is that I can't get the apple wood for my smoker. I use logs in my smoker, and you generally have to go to a specialty store to get applewood chunks as I've not seen them for sale as logs.

When I was stationed in California, they used to do a Santa Maria bbq that was made from beef tri tip cuts, and they used California red oak to smoke the meat and a speacial Santa Maria rub. I've not seen or tasted anything like it since, but it was AMAZING. I was only able to get it from Santa Barbara up through SLO.

No problam Dennis...I think I can safely speak for most of us when i say that we apreciate your honesty(see rules #2 and #3). As for shooting parachutes...A parachuting pilot can shoot you down, as well as become a tank, so by no meens are they a noncombatant. so I say kill 'em all and let the server sort them out! and Nazis..In our squad, great pilot and a great person. To quote Forrest Gump..."That's all I have to say about that."

You can fit a square peg in a round hole, but you can't polish a turd.

Just played against Av8r. Confirmed ability. Very hard to hit! Luckily the opportunity to shoot him in the chute did not present! Otherwise he'd of thunk less of me. :)

Also, I saw wazzup in another couple games. Told him to drop by the thread. He said he would. Obviously if a retroactive vote is required I vote IN. :)

And finally, I vote honorary prodigy membership for isaactheman. The kid's a gas. I know, I know, he's in a other squad ...

Speaking of prodigal prodigies, what' become of Conoco and Killerbadger?
