Ok guys and gals this might not be the place to ask this question but I'm going to anyway. I'm thinking about letting the squad duck killers go. I started it a while back for me and my brothers so the three of us could have our own squad . Of the three of us I'm the only one that still plays and with the name kansas duck killers not many people want to join ( I haven't done much recruiting ethier) Recently I gotten a few invatations to goin other squads and its got me thinking. Any opinion you guy have would help tons. Oh one more thing if jack doesn't want this type of talk in the bar feel free to erase this post.

Jason. There's no shame in dumping a one-man squad. There's plenty of squads that would be lucky to have ya. If you're looking into M.O.M, I'll sponsor you. No pressure though... Seriously. M.O.M's a place you wanna be. Feel free to stop by.

Jack, if you take exception, I beg your pardon.
Fuck this place. Second rate hack playing in a yard that's too big for him.

No exception taken... Just realize that I won't gripe if he gets 5 other offers also. Everyone is free to talk about whatever here, long as it doesn't make all of the other folks from other squads, or even independents like myself believe that this thread is just an extension of a particular squadron. Plus, I don't play favorites... There are about 4 really good squads on here that I would happily join, if I were feeling Squadly.

I will drive half way tomorrow and the rest (back) on sunday. Starting at 05:00 hours tomorrow.

Eat light and frequently, limit liquids but do drink some water, get out and stretch from time to time even in short bursts cause you are not used to sitting that long. Blueberry smoothies and Starbucks vanilla frapucinnos (spelling??) are my secret weapon but dont tell anyone. I hide my face when i buy them, and im ashamed to admit it. It works great though with the combo of sugar, caffeine, and lots of vitamins. Regular coffee makes you have to go to the bathroom a lot. Find things to occupy your mind. Talk radio, audiobooks and the like are your best friend. Music is good, but overdoing it dulls your mind.

That's what comes to mind at the moment...

Ok here ya go. Jacks short list of squads!!! Get ready!!!

(Disclaimer: I'm not saying other squads are not as good or better, but considering my age, mentality, and style of play, these would be where I would go personally)

In no particular order:

Loony Bin

M.O.M. (Been there, done that, it's a good squad)

War Dogs

Black Eagles

But, as I can from time to time be a regular jerk, I don't want to make anyone else look bad. Nor do I feel like answering for any of my in game habits or tactics. Obviously I would have to answer to a mod if I got way out of line, but I don't particularly care to follow any squadrons "rules" of gameplay. I'm happy with the way I play, and that's all I need. Plus, I have favorite players from almost every squad on here that I consider my Dogfight "friends". I don't want to go one way, and snub the other. I did that when I went to MOM, but I thought MOM was a laugh riot in comparison to the other squad who was really trying to hire me. But, that "recruiter" is one of the coolest guys on here and I still feel horrible for not going to his squad. It just was all too serious for me...

So, I'm very happy where I am at now, but would highly recommend any of the ones mentioned. If you are looking for a more strict format the Falcons, Misfits, Enigma, and others are great. NLR you have to be both smart, and a badass... I'm neither so they wouldn't let me in. The Confederates are mainly young guys talking about young guy stuff and so on. There are so many good choices on here. Just read through the threads and see who is your best fit.

Kevy wrote: It's actually weird that you guys are treated so bad. If you get a DUI which is .04 for you guys. Your job is lost. That's even if your in a car. Does this apply to say a police officer or Fireman, No. They bust you over things that really are a act of nature. Burned out light bulbs? I'm sure most drivers keep up as best as possible but the penalties are ridiculous. I'm sure every truck driver wants to haul an extra 5,000 lbs on for excitement. They do it because of pressure from customers or upper management. Who gets busted? "Just say no" is easy to say until your paycheck is hanging on the line. Google has nothing on tracking. The next thing for you guys is a sensor in your underware.
I know it's supposedly for the good of the road but who is doing all the unsafe driving? That mean person in Coon MN that's who. Next time your on an Interstate watch who the trouble is. It's the group of travel cars full of kids who hook up into a speed train. Or the Benz that could care less about laws.

I really wish more people understood these things Kevy. Thank you for writing this. .

Jacklpe's right :)
But if u wanted ta join a squad i would talk to players in squads, Observe their behavior and yup like jacklpe said read up on the threads, get some insight of what that squads about that includes the rules too.
Honestly if u ask me, they're all good. Oooops i lied, there r some exceptions :S
I won't be bias, cos it is a hard choice and everyones diffrent. But remember don't RUSH

Nah... Most of the ships have already turned and started heading out by the time they get to that point. Not too far to the south of where I was standing is Patrick AFB. It's just a quick 45-50 minutes down there from the house, and that's from my super secret beach access that is almost always deserted, or maybe has just a couple of people wandering around. Most of the crowds congregate elsewhere... That's probably my favorite spot at cocoa. I just wasn't holding the phone straight. :)
