Worcester Sauce wrote: I've just got back from Germany. Had the worst journey back. Had to go through Belgium and France, then get a ferry from Calais to Dover, then drive the last 3 hours to Worcester...

Whole thing took 25 hours!

A bad trip doing all of that would be a good one for me. Strangely, I've been in every one horse town in 3/4 of the US, but I've never been out of it. I spent a weekend in Laredo, TX one time and was going to go to Mexico, but got food poisoning and spent the weekend asleep in the sleeper of my truck when I wasn't throwing up. I was at Niagra Falls, NY one time and would have liked to have walked over to Canada, but I had an expedited load waiting on me, and was pushing my luck just by going to the falls like I did.

Europe? Not anytime soon. I'd love to see the world, but that's going to be a while. I watch a lot of travel documentaries and know all sorts of places I'd love to go. You just named a few...

But right now I'm backed into a door at the Winn Dixie DC here in Orlando, and have been here for 4 hours now... I need to get the oil changed on this thing and it cleaned up a bit. That's what's between me and the awesome weekend that I am sure is to come.

We are in line for the X-Simulator at the Boeing Museum of Flight. This thing can go upside down! If not for my propensity for motion sickness, I would be ecstatic. Daughter, however, is psyched.

Got barf bags?

I would like to put $73 behind the bar for Jackalope, he seems like the master of diplomacy and comes across as the bestest guy around.
I would put more behind the bar but this last available on me Visa.

I'll take 20 beers and one small rubber boat please. Today is 17th annual beer float in Vantaa-river. Plan is to float down the river a few miles and drink beer. With over 3000 participants its one of the biggest Finnish annual happening without organizers or person in charge. Who the heck would like to take responsibility from something like this...

Nobody has ever drowned in beer floats and this year only a few guys were taken into custody for their own safety.

Mrs Roo, if you are reading this, you are missed. Sorry how things turned out for you two. I know much transpired, and I know that even Richy has accepted a lot of it as being his own doing. Oh well... What are friends for if they only stand by you when you are doing great, but then forget you cause the pendelum went the other way. I guess it's my hillbilly raising that makes me see things that way, but like I've told so many on here, if I've accepted you as a friend, then you are going to have to do something incredibly stupid to get me to turn on you. Some would argue that is what Richy did, but it hasn't been shared with me, and it probably won't be either. Various reliable people have indicated the gravity of whatever was supposedly said and done, and although I trust that in their view they feel confident in their assertions, because I'm not privy to it, I have nothing else to go on. And I never ever ever write someone off without knowing the majority of the facts. I told a friend a while back that Richy is going to be like JFK or Hoffa. Discussion over the circumstances surrounding his ban is probably going to keep coming back like a bad case of syphillis (the exact words I used). From this point forward I'm going to try as hard as I can to stay out of it though. I think the whole dogfight world knows how I feel now, and there is no point in repeating it over and over. To all of you few that do know all of the ins and outs of the whole thing, please don't take my hesitations as disrespect. It's just never a good idea to pass judgement on what you know nothing about. For that reason, I continue to try to be everyone's friend. Even you Swop if you'll leave that damn video alone.

Ok... Back to the lighter stuff.

Thanks for the music Paul. I love Jazz and swing music. My favorites are the Duke and Count Basie, but there were just too many greats to begin to try to narrow it any further.
