Help me Snid! I can't stop throwing. It's like a disease. Before I go to bed (after kids are asleep and dog is put away... that dog is obsessed by flying things and wants to snatch and chew my boomerangs), I have to throw the indoor boomerang around the family room. Just have to. And yesterday evening, I dropped off my daughter at her piano lesson and then drove down the street to a field and threw boomerangs for 45 minutes. I went and bought a few more 'rangs from boomerangman. My car's passenger seat looks like boomerang store.
My favorite so far is a plastic pointy hat shaped boomerang, pretty light and thin, and when thrown right it has a nice float at the end of the flight:

Problem is, if I don't get the throw just right, it sometimes comes cruising in fast! There must be a catching skill that I'm just not getting yet, because my knuckles and fingers are raw after 45 minutes. Ow! Ow! Sandwiching is the most reliable, but once in a while I pull off this miraculous one handed catch (and celebrate! Who da Man!), but then future attempts find the wrong end of the boomerang, or I grab at the side that is spinning away from me and get nuthin' but air, and narrowly avoid catching it with my teeth.
I also picked up these two Air Dancers.

The lighter one *can* fly indoors, but picture frames and chandelier bulbs are definitely in jeopardy. With a little added pitch, the heavier one can turn around in my driveway area, and the hard foam is easy on the fingers.
Finally, I have these two:

Jury is still out on these two. They are not floaters at all, and they are fast, and seem much more sensitive to a precise layover angle or they balloon up or hit the ground and go skipping along away from me.
I also replaced the Tri Fly that I lost in a tree, and Rich also threw in an old used nylon one from his random collection that he thought would be moreb easily tunable for small areas. He's a class act.
And I'm a basket case!
