Thanks, Zup. Its sad to know about this issues... Heck, what these Apple and Google people think they are? Only them can make profits??? It is nothing but dictatorship!!
One more question: is there any possibility for you at Echoboom deliver a paid version of the game without using Apple Store or Google Play? I can't say for sure (correct me if Im wrong), but I remember reading that some developpers (like Gameloft, for example) used to distribute some of their games without using Apple Store nor Google Play (maybe because of these issues)...
Trying to be more clear: Is there any alternative to earn monthly fees from players without the intervention of AppStore or Google Play?
And my appologies from being stubborn and, sometimes, rude. I am not too good with public relationship... But I need to make it clear that, despite its many flaws, I really admire your work, and I will be very disappointed if this game goes to an end.
All these incidents made me understand and be a little more patient with software flaws in general... You should not give up, even if some break is needed. I hope that, if the worst scenario takes shape (with the "shut down" threat happening), we can still have this forum to keept contact, to be up to date about DF "ressurrection"...
One last thing: I am sad not only because the possibility of losing a great bunch of fun time playing this game; I am sad mostly because, as a former wannabe programmer and game designer, I see that even a successful mobile game needs to fight so much against so many adversities to be alive... While, in other hand, other ridiculous games are always in the front page of Play Store site, earning millions of dollars each year... Definitely, life isn't fair.
Good luck, Zup. And don't lose your morale if things doesn't happens as expected. You are young, and I am sure you will succeed in your passionate work!
I believe I said all I need to say about this. So, I will release you from my complainings and whinnings...
See you in the skies, everybody!
