Similar scenario in the past I've tried to at least crash one out. That's easier to do from behind because from in front they usually still have bullets. Sometimes ill get lucky and crash two out before I crash or get shot down. I have never thought about crashing on the runway.

I guess I could see why some got mad. They didn't think about doing it first. Ha ha

Even though I've stated before (SK thread, 1st post) that SKing is expected and somewhat acceptable when defending the zep, especially when the Zep has made it to the red base, I think I'd have to call foul on this scenario. Ingenious as it is, I see very little defense to the tactic. If I parked a tank on the runway in such a way as to crash out reds, I would undoubtedly end up on the blacklist. I think this is pretty damn close to the same thing. I've rammed planes taking off when out of ammo with about a 50/50 ratio of success (them dead, not me being the success). In that situation I run as much risk of a death as the target and the target has an opportunity to evade (defense). In the situation you describe, there isn't a risk to you, already having crashed, (which increases the heinous nature) and the only defense is to not take off. Not taking off means another teammate will eventually spawn on top of you and crash himself, you or both (not defense). The evil of SKing is taking advantage of pilots without giving them the opportunity to defend. So I have to conclude by saying you're a low down, dirty, egg sucking spawnkiller, even if a smart one!

I had been thinking this had been happening to me a few times before but, could not confirm it for sure until last night. Sometimes when going into a head-on shooting frenzy, it was as if my guns would stop firing. I had been thinking it was just because of all the other shooting going on at same time that caused me to be a bit disoriented. Well, last night when it happened again, the only thing I could think of was to hit camera button and sure enough, my guns started firing again. It happened when I was going head long into reds as they were taking off while I was attempting to make bombing run.

Anyone else ever experience this?

Yes. I have it happen more often in a chute. But yes in a plane also. That's why I usually just hold the button then release it then hit it again.

Steve, the same thing was happening to me last night. Guns stop firing then start to fire again, loss of gun fire sounds too.
