To all my family:

My heart breaks as I leave the nest.
As some of you know I was paralysed last year.
My friend Judy allowed me to recoup at her house.
When I was able to go home she gave me a present. A mirror with a small wooden replica of her home. The words she placed were important..."Fly free young bird".
I got my wings back and found myself here. My wings spread and were filled with the wind of good hopes.

M.O.M was formed at the same time as I thought of the same kind of idea. I'm smart...go with brains.
I was right. The brains here are amazing.

The experience has taught me much about this internet fad.

My friends I hope to keep. If not, they weren't friends.

THIS IS NOT REALITY TV! WHAT YOU SAY HERE..LOVES OR HURTS.

Thank you for allowing me to share.

Nice Brian. I'm well impressed that you made that plane by hand. A proper grown up toy :P
Was it a kit form or from blueprints? Looks a 'whole lotta love' :woohoo:

I didn't build this one. I completed the single seat version about five years ago though and I have had several others that I have worked on or modified. The Mustang 2 is available in kit or plans built today. Used to be just plans and some of the items available prebuilt when this one was started. www.mustangaero.com for more info on the Mustang 1 and 2.

I apologize for intruding, but I have something else to say;

The STAR CHAMBER is nothing to fear.
It's only a way to make sure the family is composting (sorry that was a spelling suggestion and I couldn't leave without some humor) congelling. (Now where is spell check?)
They put time and effort into making this the best group here.
Give them all your support. At least the support they give you.

It's 100 percent from them. Give it back and support them.

Thanks for the link. I want one! I asked 'her indoors' if I could make one but the look was blank.
So the one seater left no room for the stuardess I suppose, or the mini bar  well done and good for you :)

Funny you should ask ... Actually, one of the things we in the Star Chamber have been doing lately is reenacting Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians." You know, a little murder mystery dinner theater. Just to pass the time. While away the hours. A wholesome distraction from contemptuous thoughts...

Anyhoo ... now where was I? Oh yes, the main difference with our production is we're calling it "Seventeen Little Indians." Did I get that right? Math not our strong point and all. Anyway that's not important. The point is, the five you haven't seen yet got so deep into their roles it's just uncanny. I mean, Lee Strasberg, eat your heart out. Bravura performances all around ...

I see, thanks Bopes.

One little, two little, three little Indians
Four little, five little, six little Indians
Seven little, eight little, nine little Indians
Ten little Indian boys.
Ten little, nine little, eight little Indians
Seven little, six little, five little Indians
Four little, three little, two little Indians
One little Indian boy.[1]

As the Roman Empire declined its leaders became interested more in personal survival than governance, is that the plot? Are the Famous Five ever to return, do they want to? Do you want to carry on?
Twenty questions over.
I get to laugh every day now :P :P , well sometimes maybe just a hah, but still, I am hooked.
Looking back over some of the M.O.M history made me realise how it really has been a roller coaster ride of emotional and inspired happenings. I'm here because the timing is right, I hope the walk continues. Good health and good flying to all of us here!

I am saddened, it feels as though MOM has been given a poisoned apple.
I had more to say, I know what I want to and wanted to say, but no words I write would suffice .
There was a time when members of other squads would visit often, share a joke, a laugh or two.
But now, it all feels empty.

Well that's just how I feel, how I see things. I guess things change, pity its not always for the better. :(

I was just told it was bad etiquette to shoot paratroopers in a DF. Lmao. What's next? I guess you should avoid getting in a parashoot around my bullets. Every one I shot was sure tryin there hardest to shoot me. Two of them got me, one in my plane, one in my parashoot. Bad form guys. :(

Some one should start a DF finishing school. Use this tea cup,use this fork, don't shoot parashoots in a DF match.

I eat my meat off the bone with my hand. I tear pilots off the strings of parashoots with bullets every chance I get. DF match or otherwise. Sheez.

Any one else notice the ridiculous amount of CTC, ZEP, & DF games on new servers??????????????????? You can't get out of them either. I tried to get out of a zep game 10 times yesterday. Finally I just quit for about 30 min. And came back to play. When the wife says I get to play a few games I want a BTB or BTC.

I agree Muck. I was attempting to change the subject or atleast stay away from it. Just play the game and at times add my silliness or stupidity depending on your point of view. No fighting or bickering any more for me. Seems to be a lot of disgruntled employees here and I don't want to be one of them. I love the game. I don't like the fighting on the forum.

Paul I sent you a PM. Hope you got it.

Max, when I first started I never shot at the chutes. I knew from study of history and lots if history tv, the Knights of the Skies would have never shot at a parachute. BUT it didnt take me long to figure out if I didn't take out the danglers they would get me. Now... Its one of my favorite pastimes.

I don't "fight" in DF missions anymore. If I stay, I'm goofing off. I don't bother with ctc either unless its all close buds flying. I live for the bombing runs. I haven't played much lately. If you read this, sorry Farkenell I went off the deep end on that game earlier. Panchin never carries so I thought I would see how much he liked flying circles over y'all's base the whole game. Counted it 4 to 1 my favor. Atleast I was lettin his team mates by. To bad I wasn't flyin the BlüE MäX so he knew it was me. My be next time we can enjoy a game together.

I think I heard somewhere the government was shutting down Sesame Street. :)

I used to shoot the little man and not the shoot. I was getting pretty good at it. May be that helped my distance shooting. I didn't know you could shoot the parashoot. Lol. Now I go for the shoot itself. Much easier. If you don't kill them you will be shot, so I blast em every chance I get.

I still like the DF missions. I always like a challenge. Pissing contest if you will. Just not 10 in a row. CTC and Zep games I could lose altogether. Seems like a lot of them lately. More than usual.

Sorry for the confusion Max... I shoot the little man. I've heard 10 shots or so in the chute does the trick, but I haven't seen that work yet. There's another trick that does work, but I don't use it and won't post it publicly because I think it's cheap and don't want to disseminate it to the masses.

I hear Ernie will be up again tomorrow night... 7-10PM EST. I think the Mrs has other stuff to worry about then other than how much Ernie is flying.

The only thing i have heard recently about sese street and the government, was that last year sometime the us gov invested like 10 million dollars into a production of Sesame Street on Iranian tv, so that perhaps the newer generations wouldn't hate America and the west so much, I wish I could remember the article, so I could post link, state dept getting silly. Dont mean anything political i just thought it was pretty stupid.
