We know who the regular MOM thread chamber guys still are, Mantz Jr, M4tin, Muck and Dent and for that I thank you. But I think that there is alot of distrust floating around between some of us, no its not my paranoia, I have exchanged PM's with Chamber and Non chamber members alike and the overwhelming feeling is that they treat us with contenmpt.

I would like to say that there are ten times the amount of good guys in MOM than there is rotten
apples, but for me, trust is the only thing that any friendship or relationship is built on and I do not trust every member here.

I believe that the thread has changed since Dogss reappeared and until recently, he is my biggest reason for wanting out of MOM. I take exception to anyone who likes to throw their weight around and I'm afraid that until last week, I have hated the way he gets off on rattling up us 'normal MOM's', whether its all been just his humor or maybe not, it's made me feel very un welcomed and affraid of what to say and when to say it.

Wow!!I am flattered!!! The last compliment I received was from Dawson and some others way back when I was into it big time....That boosted my moral, I may have to start playing more again....I used to play all the time, now I only play a couple games a day.

Maybe I should be more honest and say that since being here my mental Heath has dramatically worsened and I found this hole experience very confusing. I have found myself being sly and deceitful, which I would never have thought i had it in me.
Then Doggs came back and as I'm sure youll remember, he rubbed me up the wrong way. I have a big issue with people who believe they are 'it', people who like to throw their weight around and when I'm in one of my low phases it plays havoc with my mind.
The problem now is that since the hole 'doir' crap, I saw a different side to him. He almost came across as someone with a conscience, someone likeable and normal and that is not what I had in my head about him. I don't consider myself as a bad person or as a troll but that's exactly what happened and for that I you all a massive apology. When I read how bad it had aggatated Doggs I was completely ashamed by my actions.
Maybe now, Biggs, Parrot, Chocks, blue max and Bell might want to reconsider the nice posts and PM's and emails since last weeks breakdown.

I exchanged PMs with Roo, to say basically the same thing. I have no hard feelings and I'm not pissed at him either. I don't agree or approve of the method, but to some degree understand the frustration. Stepping back and looking at the whole picture, I have to ask who hasn't pulled some stupid act only to have it backfire.

I have a theory about raising children... If you don't let them make mistakes or even fail, occasionally, they'll never learn from their mistakes and will probably lack the ability to hold themselves accountable. If you can learn for this and move on (everyone, I mean. Not just Roo) then good on ya.

(Besides super sniping skills) When I started off, I used to think SOOS was a great long distance sniper..then I got good, and shot all the sooses down, so he changed his name to "the only soos"...Later, it was DK who gave me trouble on the long shots, but I figured out how to flank him too...but Max...dam u! Shooting us down from your base to our base is cockamamie!

A few things need clearing up:

The Star Chamber was created to handle matters of recruitment in M.O.M. It is not the Bilderbergs or the Illuminati or the Priory of Sion fercrissakes. We talk about new recruits. Lately we talk about almost nothing. Like the thread, like your best friendships, like your relationship with your real mom, there's inevitable ebb and flow. Silences occur naturally. Sometimes we're back and forth on a topic (big, scary stuff like "which tablet should I buy?") and sometimes we're silent as a frickin' crypt. Nothing sinister, contemptuous or super-double-top-secret gets discussed there. We have spreadsheets designed by Bopes to keep track of current applicants. Occasionally personal matters come up. They aren't shared with the squad on the thread. Read that previous sentence and key in on the word "personal". Any suggestion that we exist "behind a velvet curtain" is intended as a joke. Likewise, anything that's produced a picture of the SC as some manipulative body pulling strings and disrespecting the squad as a whole is ridiculous and false. If you're upset about something you've heard, talk to me. If you're too upset to talk to me, leave. There are other squads with other leaders just as good. If you're laboring under the daft impression that any member of the SC owes you or anyone else the slightest transparency in terms of personal matters we discuss, you are stark staring nuts and should leave with all haste. Even some matters that do have to do with the squad are not necessarily the entire squad's business, as we've seen recently.

In the wake of all attention being focused on Dogfight Elite I am back at work on the M.O.M Flights project. The purpose of "subdividing" M.O.M into Flights based upon geography, time zones, friendships, zodiac signs, aberrant sexual predilections, was and is to address this non-issue issue of M.O.M becoming too big-box impersonal. It's a way to choose your preferred comrades, share a snappy little graphic insignia, start a Google Group of your own if you'd like, same as the treacherous obfuscating Dark Triad personalities in the Star Chamber have. It isn't my favorite way to chew up hours I'll never get back. Nor is it my least favorite. It's something I proposed as being good for M.O.M, then muscled through a wave of apprehension in the Star Chamber, the concern being that it would "fragment" the squad. I made the call that will cost me the greatest amount of work at a time when I don't have that kind of time to spare because I'm a selfless martyr and thought it would be fun. For you, not for me.

If you feel that M.O.M is no longer a cohesive group, push off. You have my blessings. M.O.M will struggle along without you. If you feel that it's your right to stir things up, you're wrong. It's my right, not yours. I earned it with roughly 130 separate personal banners, a squad name, insignia, distinct identity, a manifesto, a set of non-rule rules, countless interventions when this experiment threatened to destroy itself. If you disagree by all means run against me for Dictator next time we hold open elections. That should be right after we officially change our name to The 112th Falcon Squad.

I do not hold members of this club in contempt. I hold you all in the highest regard. All except three of you, and that ain't a bad average. I've invested of my time and energy because it's become important to me that you have as much fun as the Dogfight law will allow. Now, as it happens, I'm ill. It's a neurological condition that makes following the thread more uncomfortable than it's worth. I check in now and then but I don't hang on every post. I can't. I don't contribute as much to the daily doofery of the thread as I once did. I trust you all to keep it as active and vital as you choose. There are lives being lived, illnesses being fought, higher priorities being addressed. That doesn't mean anyone here has ceased to care. I see the word "trust" being booted around. I'm sure I speak for SheiBe Kopf and Mad (neither of whom we've heard from in months) the other SC members, some of whom are active, some not, and Nazis and crazy nut and Xuan K.Zamora (none of whom we've ever heard from here) when I say I'd appreciate a little of that trust stuff if you can spare it. I've trusted every single one of you and only about two dozen of you have ever stabbed me in the back.


We aren't talking about the dogss/Doir/Richy controversy anymore. My moles keep me posted and any further discussion on the subject will be deleted by Wig the Mod with full support from Wig the Machiavellian Despot. What's been said is dead, nothing more need be said unless it's said privately between the parties directly involved. For the rest of us, Case Closed. Do I make myself clear?

Dogfight is a game. It is intended to be fun. I've been as guilty as the next M.O.M of losing sight of that fact from time to time. Let's all work a little (or a lot) harder at keeping things in perspective. There are real people with real feelings in back of these asinine names.
