I was trying to loop my plane between power lines and I missed. Got the prop blade wedged between strands of wire. It hung there overnight and the wind got it down the next day.

Ha Ha, Been there..... The carbon cub is gread...Looks good on float's too. I wouldn't suggest the floats. The darn thing goes into a Knife edge and won't pull out... I hit the roof of the house...
I'll try to get some pic's this weekend, If I remember... I alway's forget about this thread...

It's a good plane. Lot's of power. Will also tow the UMX glider. It doesn't need flaps at all... I had full flaps set and first flight almost somersaulted in for a landing...
Best thing to do is get the BNF (Bind and Fly) and get your own radio (2.4 GHZ)

Flyzone Micro Se5a. I just ordered one a couple of weeks ago for my brother n law. $50 on Tower Hobbies website. Make sure you get the RTF (RTR) version. BNF is for people that already have a radio (transmitter)

This has been in a Box for about 10 years. I decided it would be a good platform for the GoPro. I painted it up, assembled and now need's motor, receiver, speed control and GoPro mount... Trying to get it ready for the fall leaves.....

Hey Dent,

You probably know this, but the GoPro field of view will include that front cowling. I imagine most of the bottom half of the view will be the plane itself. Moving it up even just another inch or two will help, if the GoPro can still be secured.

Yea, I have to mess around with some kind of mount Manfred. I just set it there for the Photo.. I've tested that camera on a couple of gasser planes and it's one of the best camera's I've owned for the aerial photo's and movies. The HD is awsome. I took the camera to Ocean City Maryland and it was the camera of choice on the beach and in the water.....

I ordered a Blade 350QX Quadcoptor with an anti vibration mount for the GoPro I can't wait for that to arrive.

Nice - looks like a neat platform

Here is a shot of a Ultra Drifter similar to one that I am getting - the shot comes from a thread in RCGroups - the plane has been fitted with camera for FPV plus ArkBird OSD with RTH - thread is "FPV on Drifter Ultralight" - incredible what the guy has done.
