My return to elite:

I went on today and found myself in a ctc game alone. So, needing the points I capture one carrier and am on my way to capturing the second when a red comes in the game. As he closes in on my aircraft, still on the carrier deck, my plane freezes in place, however the red is still able to shoot me down. I respawn and get kicked!

Grrrr I says...

So, determined to tough it out, I enter a second game. This one is a btc mission and I begin alone again. Well two reds spawn in, and the game is on. I get a couple of team mates, have a few good runs, and surprisingly don't get kicked. Here are the results.

This game may have some promise yet.

Oh, and Killer Ken played his heart out. May make a good recruit. Keep your eyes out for talent folks. Elite has a whole new crop of players, some retreads, but some may be good future wolves.

It's ok Fallen I fell the same. I've finally come back to this game and I post alot of what I've been doing in game and out but I haven't gotten much attention. I finally get the 76 kills to get an award but I don't know what happened to my screen shots and nobody says anything and I even said I just wanted to share even if I don't get the awards. So your not alone im with you.

I have been in pm land with fallen, and have related to him that our overall participation on the forum is down. I don't know if it has to do with the closing of df1 and release of elite, but it certainly has coincided with those events.

If you look back, you will see lots of my posts also receive little to no attention. Not that I need attention, but that indicates our forum activity is at a low point. There is a handful of us posting at best. I know life takes priority for all of us, and am just chalking it up to that for now. I think overall we are playing less, and therefore posting less.

Personally, I try to post at least once per day, and try to get to everyones posts but sometimes run out of time and cannot answer them all. Dera, your 75 kill game was awesome, and I could tell you were excited. I was hoping someone in the game would have provided the screenshot so I could properly recognize ya... it used to be someone in the game would lend a hand even if not wp. Those days seem to have passed, at least for now.

So, in the spirit of forum activity, and Wolf Pack pride, I think its time for a contest of some sort. Fallen had the idea, but its now mine to run with. We need to find a way to hold a contest within the constraints of elite and the way you enter games there.

Any suggestions? Wolves gotta hunt!

Thank you Viper. I understand all of what you said and your right I was so excited for my award, this is the first time I've ever exceeded past one star, I've always gotten 47, 48, 49 but never 50 or higher. But I'm always scared to take a screenshot because so many time I've turned off my phone instead of a screenshot(power button/volume control) and right as I got ready to take this screenshot I lost connection. I was honestly really mad and so I went back trying to get in the same game but it didn't work, so I started to play that game and a person on my team came from the last one and so I asked him how many I got and he confirmed that I killed 75 or 76 people and I went to take the screenshot, freaking out that I might turn my phone off and so I got it and then I realized that you guys might not even accept it. So I thought that I will just try and see but sometimes me phone says that it saves the picture but it really doesn't and of course with a very important screenshot it doesn't save. So thanks again viper I will keep what you said I to consideration.

Congrats on your 100k kills . That is a very impressive accomplishment. I have been working 12 hour shifts and haven't been as active as I would like to be as of late. Sorry to all Wolfs feeling left out. I sometimes wish Padre was still here as he replied to every ones posts. Dera you are as important to our Squad as any Wolf. I hope you accept my apologies and I will be more attentive to your success and improvement. Fallen you are a true brother and I hope you reconsider. WP wants a contest? Ok I am going to set something up for this weekend. It will be a little difficult with connection issues but I will design something up for fun. It will be posted here and Elite tournament page tomorrow. Dera can you play Elite or only original. If needed we will play Original to accommodate all members

We all really need to focus on elite now, I have canceled my subscription to df1 as much as I like that game it is time to move on. I read somewhere that eventually we will be teamed up with our squad members and friends, I wish that would happen soon, seems like whenever I get someone good on my team they leave or loose connection. Still working on the aim with the bullet drop but sometimes I am deadly.

I would be willing to bet that when folks leave its due to connection loss. That happens to more folks than are complaining about it from what I can tell. My experience has been sometimes you get lost conn right away, sometimes after playing awhile, and there is no rhyme or reason to it.

Also I have the same thing as you do pmoon1, sometimes I am quite deadly and others I cannot hit anything. Its inconsistent.

Since the game is so inconsistent now with connections etc. I thought the only way we can have a decent fun contest is this. Tomorrow at 6pm Pacific take a screen shot of your home page showing your points and rank etc. We have a 48 hour marathon. At the end take screen again of your points money etc, and see who aquired the most points over the weekend. Its just for fun but gives us a little motivation to make some kills. Also post your best game if possible. I usually am unable to last full match without conn. loss in both DF games. Pick which DF you want to use and play. I am not sure if the scoring is the same between the two? But its the best I can come up with. Happy hunting

I've been exclusive elite for quite sometime. It's nice to see all the old DF1 pilots again . Once I started elite I couldn't go back to DF1 it just felt stagnant. If I bounce in and out of Games it's usually because my boss has stepped in. Happy stalking

Had the opportunity to play on my primary device tonight(Ipad, had wifi for a few hours)...many great games with the beloved WolfPack!

I recieved the ultimate complement, someone said,"You started WOLFPACK right?"...lol, talk about getting humbled.
I replied no, it was sir Digger, and Viper....not the skeeter bug. But glad to be here. this is a great squad Gentlemen.

It made my week getting a couple games with my beloved Squadron. It was so good having a couple games Skeet. Dunc,Nav,Pmoon,stars all representing.
