I think the roster on page one needs to be updated as there are a lot of names there of pilots that have moved on and names that are missing (like mine)

To those who earned promotions, congrats you all deserve them.
To Cush, Huck, & Tx we never flew together much but when we did they were fun (actually Huck I think we only flew once or maybe twice) and although blue was great I always have the most enjoyable games when there are red wolfs also, win or lose.
Huck and Cush. You two have something makes this game different for you then for most of the rest of us. In one of your early posts Cush you mentioned the way it felt when in game/in room with Huck and why so I totally get it and I see legendary status for a pair of independent pilots who wreaked havoc in the DF skies……etc etc…..flew as one…..yada yada……so good luck in your future endeavors.

Maybe it’s time. The PACK was created by a remarkable individual at a time when its purpose went way beyond the game. And although only a few remain from that original cadre (and no I am defiantly not one of them) its purpose is quite possibly over. The Pack will remain a part of DF that will never end and it shouldn’t but as the game itself is evolving, maybe it’s time. I will play through to MORAF then I will switch to Elite. I will always be WOLF but as the game evolves so must the wolf.

But the padre beats wolf blood from the heart....i like many have confided in him , my health is personal and he took time out of his life to try to help me see all is not lost even tho my health is failing

To be clear, what I am saying is that quitting is considered by our rules to be an unpardonable offense. Pistol then made it even worse by saying that he was above the law and could come back if he so chose. Now, if my bosses, Viper and Digger, want to change those rules, fine by me! But, until and if they do that, none of those who quit---including Pistol---are coming back. I am not beating my chest, just enforcing the rules. So, I would appreciate it very much if the personal attacks would stop. Talk to Viper if you want to change things, not to me. I don't have that power, folks.

Okay gang, time to knock it off and get back to killing reds. These things have a habit of occurring when I am otherwise busy with life and I cannot intervene, and this is no exception.

Technically speaking our code prohibits forum shenanigans, so if we were to go strictly by the book everyone would be getting warnings for violating our code. Obviously that isn't going to happen but that news should help to sober everyone up a bit. Calm down guys and gals, its a video game.

Furthermore, anyone who has been on forums for any length of time has likely encountered a situation where the posted word is mistaken or misunderstood. You cannot see facial expressions, voice inflection, etc. and things can be taken wrong. From what I have read this is what has primarily happened in this case. Once things start badly, they only seem to get worse, and again this appears to be what happened.

I have to remind everyone that officers of Wolf Pack will not air their grievances openly on the forum or in WC. We are supposed to be better than all that, so lets be better than all that. If one of you has an issue with another one, bring it to PM or to me. You may be surprised at how good I can be at handling issues between people..... oh wait.... I do that FOR A LIVING.

Additionally know that I cannot resolve an issue I am unaware of. For all the new guys you should know that my door is always open to all members of Wolf Pack, and all our squad officers should adapt an open door policy if they haven't already. You are where you are to guide and mentor our pilots due to your longevity and dedication to WP. So if you have a problem you cannot resolve, a problem with someone who is senior to you, whatever, bring that to me. I can likely handle it discreetly and appropriately. When I am kept in the dark I cannot help or intervene. Does everyone understand that? If not, pm me.

I am disappointed that nobody came to me with issues prior to this becoming a public debacle. Too late to rectify that now but I will publically state that I addressed the "door or open or closed" issue in my first post about this. Case by case basis depending on the circumstances on which they leave, that is my policy and does, in fact, go against our code. I weigh our code vs. what is fair and equitable given this is a fun game we all enjoy and an internet thing..... That gets me into trouble with the folks who like to read and interpret the rules as hard and fast, and into trouble with those who see the lack of discipline as my being soft and spineless. I can say that both opinions are correct and wrong, depending on your viewpoint. Digger, when he was more active, was always "Dad" to my "Mom", and would frequently address me about various code violations such as name changes and the {WP} being in names, and I would water them down somewhat before enforcing them so as not to run off people by being overly harsh... yep, i did that on several occasions. There is a balance that is essential to recruit and maintain happy folks, people who are proud to be here. Frankly, we need both in the squad...... strict rule folks and folks who have a more lax view, to maintain that balance. While I don't agree with some peoples approach to handling issues or handling of other wolves, we kinda need those people to maintain that balance making it CRITICAL that the differences of opinion are then brought to my attention so I can resolve them fairly. YIKES! Talk to me folks.

The success or failure of WP rests squarely on my shoulders and I take full responsibility for what has transpired over the last day or so. However, the squad is made up of each and every one of YOU which makes WP success or failure directly proportionate to how we all conduct ourselves. That doesn't diminish my responsibility in what has happened but serves to highlight the importance of communication. Don't be the highest ranking person with a secret folks. Its just that simple.

Lets allow the dust to settle. I will move any and all further comments to the various parties involved here to PM's, and you all should do the same. A pissing contest here only serves to undermine our squads name and reputation. I will not stand by and allow that to happen any further than it has. Yes, this is a warning from the XO to knock it off and get back to killing reds.

We are a wolf pack and should act accordingly. Help each other, stick together, support one another, stick up for one another, hunt side-by-side, and act like the cohesive squad we are. That is who we are.

Thanks for the pep talk Viper. As for Squad rank and all that stuff concerning me. Get to it when you can. I am Wolf and I no my place in this Squad. I do not require or need special attention or recognition. i am happy just to be a part of Wolf Pack. And note, I have been playing with my gloves on so to speak, Well I took them off last night and shot the heck out of Reds. I think I only lost a couple games out of many last night. I will be hunting with new vigor and spirit. . I would like to once again encourage new recruits to post there thoughts, questions, and concerns regarding DF play. When I was new, there where many points of in game play and ethics I had no Idea about. Simple things such as having to land on Carriers in CTC games to win. How to taxi your plane inside Carrier(not so simple,but very useful) How to use land features to guard against incoming fire, WC features and squad chat. The list goes on and on. Believe me I still learn something new all the time. So lets come together and share our skills and Knowledge. You want to turn fight? Dunc7 and Viper are the people to hang with, You want to be all round deadly shot and tank expert, hang with Lumas, You want to no inside secrets and be a ace, Skeets got your back. You need inspiration and be humbled,talk to Legionz. This guy fights through pain daily. You want to just have good conversation, Larry is your man(AKA Roamer) Im still hoping he will post some photos of his trip he is currently on. Thanks Doggy.. I wish those sweet comments of yours were true, the ego in me would like to think so, but believe me the number one person who "is" WP is not me, it's Viper.. This is Award winning newsman, Dinky Dao live from outside the wolfden. The wolfpack,a very respected squadron has recently had some tense incidents of infighting. Apparently it all stems from a comment made after a certain situation turned ugly then some others went and got themselves a severe case of " imflamatory rectum" . We called it butt hurt in the navy and it is resistant to drugs called civility and good common sense.

While the wolf pack is licking its wounds, its pilots are either watching television, golfing,eating cheese puffs or inventing a rocket to lift them off this planet to a sane existence "out there".

The whole thing is such a silly mess and people are leaving.Not a lot but a few. Over what you ask? Well there is no one reason,but none of them worth worryi g over. When word gets out, other squadrons will start laying prizes at thedoor. Like Satan to Jesus offering the world,ghe gifts will be short lived. The talk even shifted to the pack disbanding.

We are notsure whats going on, despite being here all day. No one will talk to us, but one pilot , a uh questionable type, called navmed,did however give us a statement.

"Families fight,thats all this is. We will work it out,nobody is going away on bad terms with me. Feelings can be fixed, we just started that process. Now excuse me,I got to make sure our probies keep you freaking media nuts away".

With that, we say stay tuned or not,we wont have any answers anyway.
