From my perspective, I joined that game with Treybien, Gonchon, and one other Outlaw as blue. I was looking for ArthoMan but with the teams I thought it would be a quick one, and a fun one. Well, Trey left, both Outlaws left, then Squeak showed up. Squeak was a bit rusty and a fairly easy target the first 3 or 4 runs, then he got really hard to hit. Like he mentioned, I would roll out of my turn and get him 3 times but he would get me 4, and down I'd go. TX joined him and when those two were flying in together they were definitely a force to be reckoned with! I couldn't get any good team mates once the original group left, and was forced to take on Squeak and TX mostly alone for the remaining hangars. Plus they had a chronic sneaker so every now and again I would lose a hangar to that..... I pulled out every trick in the book including parking my aircraft just over the hill and waiting for them to fly over before taking back off and bringing them down just before they would get to my hangars! At once point I lost conn while in a tank (I think I bombed a hangar just as I was kicked... Squeak? is that true?) and managed to rejoin quickly.
My hats off to Squeak and TX for keeping me in defensive mode most of the game, and pressing home their attacks relentlessly. If I hadn't lost conn in that tank the outcome may have been different as I was really close to their base and had their hangars dialed in, but that is pure speculation. (I saw Squeak crash right in front of me trying to kill me lol)
Finally, that fella who applied, StormWind, was in the game the whole time. Never gave up, never a complaint, just kept flying and fighting..... very impressive considering what he was facing. I was impressed enough to invite him to join our squad as you can see from our recruiting office thread.
In summation, Squeak needs to be blue next time! Im still smarting from that spanking!
