Sounds like a plan to me.....

I flew with blue legion earlier and told him to remove the WP from name and he assured me he was going to do so ASAP due to having the wait period after last change. He also professed an abiding admiration for WP. I told him he owed an apology to his original squad (GI?) for failing to tell them first. I hope I was ok in saying those things.

That was fine, Dunc. You were perfectly okay saying those things.

I honestly suspect this blue legion person was led to believe they would be accepted in our den until we got some intel from LiL, which may have caused the confusion. Nobody did anything wrong, quite the opposite. It proves our recruiting system works well and we take recommendations, both positive and negative, when deciding on new pilot acceptance. If our Recruiting Officer says no on someone, the answer is definitely no!

Just a heads up here to my brother and sister wolves that I have invited a flier named Bici Thomas so to apply for membership to Wolf Pack. RC was in game with me when I did it. I've been watching him since he started. Heck of a young talent on the rise. Please check him out and encourage him if you agree with my assessment. Thanks. OWWWWWWOOOOOOOH!

On a personal note, I just passed 1,000,000 points scored since making MORAF and a World Ranking of 148. My goal from beginning was to make top 100 ,so I'm getting close. I must say that I am proudest of doing it as a member of this best of all squadrons, the Wolf Pack. You are one and all an exceptional group and I am still so grateful to have been invited to join you. I believe it was either Viper or Dire that took a chance on me. Thanks again for doing so. Owwwwwwooooooohhhh!

Okay, I'd like to address the issue of Blue Legion for public consideration. I've played in around 20 games with Blue, and I've never been witness to a single untoward behavior on her part that was out of norm for fliers on the learning curve. In fact, I would go so far as to say that Blue Legion shows promise. I also truly believe that Blue Legion has an abiding admiration for all of us who are the Wolf Pack. At the same time, we have been beset by a string of imposters who are despicable lowlifes and have made all of us, myself included, a bit quick on the trigger. Our reasons are sound---we wish to protect the integrity of our WP. We can't allow idjits to parade our name up there while doing things we would disapprove of. Unfortunately, I think Blue Legion made a mistake in judgement as to just how to disentangle from one squad she was already in to apply for membership in the squad she admired above all others---us. I also believe that is a given at this moment. So, here's my question to you all---why not give Blue Legion a probationary period to prove herself worthy of being a wolf? True character always comes out. We'll know the truth soon enough. Personally, I'm hoping she will prove out. We need good fliers who can be trained our way. Blue Legion took my advice to seek help with me on World Chat last night, and we were very fortunate to bump into half of WP, led by the one and only Viper. An open conversation of how to remove the WP-tag ensued, but Blue Legion showed grit by being there and facing everyone, asking for help to do the right thing. That impressed me. I say give her a chance. What do you say?
