Hey Rintaro! I think I met you as Sorrow in DF1? Well anyway its great you have an interest in the pack! I dont know if you have been accepted yet or not, but I hope you will. If I remember you correctly you are an amazing flyer and great sport! If you haven't been accepted I will personally PM Viper and tell him that you will be a great addition to our Pack!!

Pack....... That was a very good introduction, and a crucial step to becoming a Wolf Pack Member. We are a group of highly motivated, social and talented people. Our Squad is for the most part the best out there. We have many different layers to our Pack. In time we will unveil them to you. We take our recruiting very serious and will be there with you through your probationary period. Every Pack member has gone thru this right of passage, and are very proud to have done so. We will train you, guide you, and will welcome you into our DEN. As a Pack member it is your Duty to fight for the group. We have each others back in game and out side the game. We are all good friends. This is how your recruitment will proceed. As you were a level 17 or better in the Original game and I can vouch for your a ability, You will begin your Probation early. You will have to reach level8 before I fully accept your request. Fair?

The First thing you must do is change your name to this exactly Rintaro(WP-P) This signifies to other Pack members your Status and your goal to achieve full patch status. You will also visit this thread often to follow your progress and to talk with other pack members, as well to post any significant in game accomplishments. The forum thread is where we build unity. Please familiarize your self with these names. Viper, our CO, our Alpha leader. Dunc7 and Skeeter our hunting group leaders and Top Marshalls.

Last but not least you must learn to Howl. You may feel a little funny at first doing this but believe me it is very liberating. You will great all Pack members in game with your Howl.

As you can tell Cypher has done this a Million times, mine was just a little introduction. I love seeing new members and help them become a full time Wolf. Dera thanks for being patient and sporting my banner brother. I had a chat with Dera and let him know that I was having the battle of the century with my PC. Long story short. I took it to a professional computer tech, Had at least 5 online micro soft remote access support sessions and 1 HP support session. Not one of those bone heads could fix my PC. Guess who finally fixed it. That's right folks. I fixed it. What a night Mare. So I hope I can get that amazing banner working tonight. I love it Dera. Thanks a lot for making it. Also thanks to Skeeter for getting me all set in the Den. I should be able to get in now. I have felt really rotten not being around with my pack of late, as well not being able to contribute with kill award topic. Sorry Viper, I brought it up, then had basically no input on a really important subject amongst us Wolfs. And as well whrn I did fly I was basically embarresing myself do to the performance of my system. Tonight that changes big time. Cypher I am 100% patient with you and anyone with computers problems. I know most people don't know how to fix a computer or code something properly. You obviously proved yourself worthy of an IT! You should also go to the very first page of this thread and read through the by-laws or code of conduct, we don't just recruit deadly players, we want pilots who display good character and fair game play,

So last night I was planning how to modify our main page to reflect the new award system and thinking back to my days in the Navy4, and had one more idea that I would like everyone to consider before we start the Elite award system.

How about instead of having different levels, we set the level at a certain amount and for each time you reach it, you get an Ace designation or star? For example, the first time you hit 50 kills, you become an Elite Ace, and get a star. For each subsequent time you hit 50 you get an additional star up to 4. On the 5th award you get a special designation showing you have achieved 5 stars.

That aligns with the military medal system as follows. Lets say you earn an Air Medal. You are awarded the medal. For each subsequent award a person would attach a bronze colored star pin to the award. When you get your 5th, you attach a larger silver star pin designating the number of times awarded the Air Medal. The system works for all medals the same, and I got to thinking we could do that... set a number and make that the Wolf Pack Ace number to reach for everyone.

Personally I like that idea better than the 50, 60, 70, 100, but am not sure how to show the designations yet, perhaps with small a's and once you get your 5th you get a capital A, for Ace?

Kick it around, I would like to make it happen by Monday at the latest.

We could use symbols, maybe +s and then a § or something.

We could so long as the symbols are available on all devices, sure

Some pc users may not have some symbols that a phone or a table may have

One last note: If you have a banner sporting an official WP award designation, be it Airman, Marksman, Sharpshooter, or Ace, I would like to see those awards stand on your banner alone. I don't want to take away from the folks who earned those awards. With that being said someone will have to develop and make available a new way to post the Elite Ace awards to banners. Can this be done even?

You earned them, I want you to keep them if this is possible. We can all start from scratch on our in-game names though. For instance I would go from Viper10{WP****} to Viper10{WP} until I reach 50 kills in a game. I have to admit I really don't want to modify or scrap my banner which Myrlin made... thus the idea.
