Something is wrong with game. Cant shoot anyone down with plane anymore. Just parachute and I'm getting very good at it. Anyone else having this problem.

Hey NLR,

I just had a good idea while dreaming about the old days of df, u know. Back when most everyone got along right. Its still here, but it has faded alot. Ive even noticed the jolly roger is about abandoned. I was thinking of a way to help bring the forum back together as a community and a group. Right now, it seems most everyone stays on their squadron thread, rarely venturing to any other squad thread, unless to send a shout out to a player from that squad. I had the idea, if everyone is on board, to see about making, or asking zup to make a general chat thread. A place where everyone can talk about whatever. To everyone. It seems to me like this would be a great way to involve everyone on the forum and allow a place for everyone to interact, as a community. I love the df community, but it seems its become rather solitary since my leave and id like to see it back to the way it used to be.
My appologies for the copy and paste post and for the abrupt posting from nowhere. I just wanted to see what everyone thinks of this idea.
What are yalls taking on this?

I've noticed a great attrition on the forum as well. As the World Chat in-game seems to be what you are describing, I'm not sure how what you are proposing is any different from the set-up we have now.

Regardless, I'm up for supporting more community interaction in most every shape and form.

The ingame chat is a great place for live chat, and i like that feature to df. But i was thinking of a place on the forum, similar in a way to the world chat, but different as well. When i was squadless, there was nowhere for me to post, and im sure most squadless pilots here have the same problem. My vision here is to make a thread that EVERYONE is fully welcome to post and chat and just relax and be themselves. Ive been thinking about this for a while but didnt want to post. I remember how no matter the squad, everyone used to go around and talk to everyone. This place was like facebook, only without the drama and more friends than u could ever count. I just want to try my hand in helping df back to that place.
I want to get the squadron moderators involved as well, that will be a great way to help the threat show that there is no squadron boundaries or restrictions to any of it.

BB I can imagine what you are looking for and I fully support it. What I can understand is mentioned below. Please correct me if it’s different from what you are up to.

BB what you are asking for is possible when zuperman enable Forum live chat just like world chat and only then members irrespective of various squads will actively participate.

The difference between the world chat and Live Forum Chat will be that in World Chat most of the players are in the mood to play not to chat. You’ll find free/new users and squad recruiters most of the time waiting for the wait period to end so that they can join the game. Well established player come to world chat just after finishing the game and if they happen to find another known face they stay there for a while and then leave to play another game.

Whereas on Forum Live Chat, most of the forum members will come to discuss, meet and interact with each other not to play the game. It will not be confined to thread where you have select the topic and post and then wait for the reply again. The Forum Live Chat will feed live inputs and will bond members as one community.

I don’t know what others have to say. It’s better if either of us open a thread and take forum members views on that because if most of the members are positive about that then zuperman might introduce it if it's feasible.

I think this is a great idea guys, thank you for suggesting it BB. Not only is it a great way to regain the community you've see this game can be, it can also keep members more active on forum as well as in game. One more point, several times I have been forced to take a little absence from Dogfight but haven't really had too much to say on forum so I kinda just dropped off the earth. However this allows people that can't play to have access to the community where they can just be themselves. I'm all for it

I want to take a moment to congratulate the NLR founders Luna and Octavia. The NLRs have almost completed 100 pages of its forum thread. Not too many squads have this community and staying power.

The temperature as compare to last summer has gone up +2 to +3 degree Celsius hovering around 42-45 degree Celsius. The most effected is the the southern India, where people are dying due to heat wave.

With every year passing it has shown an upward trend and I think the same is true to other parts of world.

Just got home from a long but very good week. I created a new product for one of the companies I've been working with and they decided to cary it in their catalogs and website. They sell world wide and I am the manufacturer.

Now I have a crazy amount of work to do before someone copies it.
Unfortunately it may not be patentable but it is going to pay some bills and get my name better known in my industry.

(Hey Jas, it's that idea I was telling you about for your future tiny house!)
