I think I may be the only one holding out but seeing as how there's a quorum in favor of Obama I'll accept what everyrseems to want. Nothing personal against the kid, who by all counts seems to have a good heart and is earnest as hell, but moving forward with any future prodigy (or old fart) selection, I still must insist on using some objective guidelines. I for one feel that your player rank is a must have criteria; you don't get to level 13 or 14 merely by eating cake and being old and a good guy. Otherwise we water down our intimidation factor (Dent making semi mortal status, and Wigs tearing it up lately notwithstanding). I feel that our prowesss should be so overwhelming that anyone flying with our tag that's not a Real MOM will easily stick out to all other players because they can't fight like we do. Its all good fun but I'd like to see it where someone FINALLY gets into a game after waiting forever because the server is full, only to see some MOMs as reds, and feels that quitting and going back into the "server's full" queue is a better option!

There are some crazy good pilots out there, a lot of them in Enigma and the 111th especially. But its not their squads that intimidate. intimidate. It's their individual badass selves. I would like to see us as a group have that same "Oh sh#t!" factor. No disrespect to any other squad, but maybe there's no squad wars yet is because I think we'd do very well.
Again just my opinion.
I was worried about this subject, Tex. As you saw in today's BTC we played against each other, I can't face guys like you, Dent, etc. I agree with you about skill factor being as a "must have criteria", and I am a little bit upset about my lack of skill, indeed.
In the last weeks, I figured out how much all you MOMs are well respected, and feared by many people - and I fear that being myself an easy target (although still at level 8 ) is scratching MOM's reputation.
I know that many of you MOM's will say "Nah, keep working, and you'll improve", and things like that, and probably I will accept this kind of encouragement, and certainly I'll stick with the tag over my name. But anyway, I need to confess this little "frustration". Any teaching sessions for noobs scheduled, by the way?

Another thing I think worth mentioning: When in "Dogfight!" sessions (only in "Dogfight!" sessions!!!!), I will NOT shoot any MOM. Its a personal decision. Period.
And this idea is not mine: I don't remember what MOM member was flying with me in a Dogfight this morning (I am not good in memorizing names), but he/her made this proposal, and I agreed, and it was a good game!
Of course there are some other MOM's that can disagree with that, and there is nothing to complain about this position, because it's a game, after all (and there were a MOM member on that same game that told us "no deal" - nothing to blame, of course); but I would be happy if I see some more MOMs agreeing with this "pact".
Deal?
From now on, I will use the ingame chat to remember you MOMs of my decision every time I enter a Dogfight session; so, all I ask is a little message from you saying if there is a deal or not... If deal, just say "Deal". If not deal, just say "Not Deal", or just send me some bullets... hahahahahahahahahaha
