TRIGGER calls himself a DORK. And we know he's a talented boatbuilder.
However, THIS is an amazing creation, TRIG! Does it float too?

Ha! Thanks Mr. Mad! That was a ton o' fun. I liken it to the time, recently, when I was flying at altitude, without any idea what was below me...and killed an enemy plane by dropping a bomb on his head from 1500 ft! That and the side door tank shot are about equally likely to ever happen again...

Wig do you remember dibley from earlier, I think he's interested in MOM, told him he should come visit ans see what he thinks, he's 38 years young, so he meets the age thingy.
Oh yeah says he's a bit insane so that's 3 whatyamacallits he makes.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

"Last we saw on As the Bama Turns, the young and persistent Bama21 was trying hard to make a name for himself in the MOM squadron. Originally Big Tex voted "no" and gave some cryptic in-game reason for the vote all the while the real reason was that Big Tex, having had a previous affair with Lesa, feared that Bama21 was his illegitimate son. If Wig were to find out it would be the end to Big Tex in the squadron. As a backup plan, Big Tex sent a private PM to Dogss suggesting a coup was needed to overthrow Wig. Dogss would become the new leader, Big Tex promised, but he would be nothing more than a puppet. Big Tex could then promote Bama21 into the squad and after waiting a few weeks remove Dogss and elevate his son (Bama21) to a position of leadership.

The coup soon failed when Bopes pulled out and Wig, sensing that something was afoot, started playing day and night to improve his rankings. Unknown to the squad, Wig was secretly meeting with Bama21 in game promising him that if he just shot him down a 1000 times, he would get him into the squad. Bama21, having been abandoned as a baby by his real-life parents (both LSU alums), is always on the lookout for a father figure and went along with the plan. Meanwhile, Big Tex seeing that the revolt was not going to happen was forced to step up his efforts to prevent Bama from getting into the squad by playing the "I hate the SEC" card. This pulled Coop over to his side and despite not being on the voting board, Coop carries weight in the squad since he is a fireman. Unbeknownst to the squad, however, Coop is really the fireman on a YMCA cover band (yes, they only cover the one song). To hide this fact, Coop invents outings with his "fireman" friends but miscalculated when he said the next get-together was in NYC but didn't invite Wig. This caused the wheels to spin inside Wigs pee sized brain (yes, Bopes...spelling was intentional) and sensing the tide turning against Bama (get it? Tide, Bama...you can't make this stuff up) suggested that he was wearing down and would consider his application. Dogss still stunned from his failed coup now came over to Bama's side to make the peace with Wig. This caused a number of squad members to come over to Bama's side (as quite frankly everyone fears Dogss...not as a pilot but in "real life", whatever that is) but a quick PM to FlyingMuck from Big Tex brought a new voice into the fray. FlyingMuck started to analyze the Bama21 correspondences looking for things to exploit. As a former political operative, Muck skillfully latched on to an off-the-cuff remark and made it the sound bite for the anti-Bama protests. Unfortunately, FlyingMuck is not very smart and thinks he is putting together anti-Obama messages.

As we move into today's episode, will Bama be able fend off the attack by Muck? Will Big Tex reach out to Lesa to see if Bama is really his son? Will Wig find out about Big Tex and Lesa? Will Bama realize his parents were LSU alums? Will Lesa even read this post? Will you even read this post? Find out these answers and more in today's As the Bama Turns.

Float.... Ha! That thing hovers! I stole the pink hover board from Marty McFly, reversed engeneered it and put it in my new pedal jet. Oddly enough it doesn't work if you have pants on.... Or boxers. Upside.... It feels awesome when you hit top speed. I cut a hole in the floor of my jeep so that I can get the same sensation on my way to work. ( I did find out that you want to avoid gravel roads if you make the same modification)

Well, if there was an award for most epicly awesome tank fail, it'd be mine, I shot up at a plane, missed, drove forward after shooting a round at a low angle to quickly rid myself of the round camera, twenty feet later, I was hit by that round I fired at the plane,
I wish I could have gotten a vid.

But, I can flip a tank off its side, without using the cannon if i'm not on a slope, just the joystick to move the tank, pull that back or to the left, the tank starts bouncing, and eventually, it'll flip over, hopefully right side up. B)

Re: bama's unfortunate "sound bite", chalk it up to youth. Maybe to be more accurate he could've said something like "none of the other squads have that 'old man' stink, and to overcome this handicap all the players in MOM have to try to be extra friendly . . ." :)

It's good to see COOPer there too. Just keep him away from the camel. He'll either fall in love or BBQ it.

You say "you Texans" like that's a bad thing! B)

Been to Boerne plenty. There's a pretty fair BBQ joint there called Rudy's that has passable food. IMO was much better when Doc Halladay was still alive running the franchise.

I think I may be the only one holding out but seeing as how there's a quorum in favor of Obama I'll accept what everyrseems to want. Nothing personal against the kid, who by all counts seems to have a good heart and is earnest as hell, but moving forward with any future prodigy (or old fart) selection, I still must insist on using some objective guidelines. I for one feel that your player rank is a must have criteria; you don't get to level 13 or 14 merely by eating cake and being old and a good guy. Otherwise we water down our intimidation factor (Dent making semi mortal status, and Wigs tearing it up lately notwithstanding). I feel that our prowesss should be so overwhelming that anyone flying with our tag that's not a Real MOM will easily stick out to all other players because they can't fight like we do. Its all good fun but I'd like to see it where someone FINALLY gets into a game after waiting forever because the server is full, only to see some MOMs as reds, and feels that quitting and going back into the "server's full" queue is a better option!
I
There are some crazy good pilots out there, a lot of them in Enigma and the 111th especially. But its not their squads that intimidate. intimidate. It's their individual badass selves. I would like to see us as a group have that same "Oh sh#t!" factor. No disrespect to any other squad, but maybe there's no squad wars yet is because I think we'd do very well.

Again just my opinion.

Hi M.O.Ms,

i've not mentioned something about the kid Bama yet, because im not really sure with him. On the one side i really undersrand the reasons of big tex and i respect him as one of the best players in the game. On the other side i'm also duly impressed (took the words from wig, sorry Rick :) ) by the persistence of bama. At the moment he gets my vote for "in" if Sput agrees, too.

But Bama, you have to know that our young prodigies have a very high standard so please promisse to improve your skills (you 'll do that automatically by flying and watching other good players and ask for some advice from time to time) and respect other players in other squads.

So just my opinion to that theme :)
