Was just readin through the maze of threads here and ran across your mention of being in the Coast Guard. I thought I was the only one! I graduated the last fire control tech class before the ET/FT rating merger and got stationed on Jarvis. Then I lucked out with a second tour with COMSTA Honolulu, and I am now a reservist at NESU HONO. I will never leave Hawaii, if thats not obvious! Im ecstatic to see another Coastie in Dogfight, and I thought it would be interesting to know some of your CG experience, or whatever your comfy with. Anyway, hang in there and just chillax to propagate healing. Shakkas Brah!

Wow! Diesel is a VERY good dogfighter! I have been in numerous games with him. I hope he does come on board!

i have just finished an epic battle with him he got over 100 kills myself 78 this game went on for well over 1hr i think we started to get bored so tank battles commenced between us this was very amusing tit for tat all the way.
i have found sam one of the nicest guys in dogfight all nice and polite and can kill from one side of the screen to the other in a matter of seconds.
now i never asked him because we were to busy killing each other but i did find out that he was no kid.
he is in his twenties maybe just maybe we could persuede him to join the mighty mom.

Re jennyfly, according to Miss Hell, Miss jennyfly is holding off joining a squad until she improves on her English. Somehow I doubt that would help her understand this thread any better than the rest of us. Also, coulda fooled me! I had no idea jennyfly was German until Miss Hell tipped me off! Any confirmation one way or another from jfly herself on this (wig? anyone?)

Any other recent MOM additions, requests, denials?

Addendum: hmm I see while I typed the above Diesel and samweb (congrats!) have been floated as persons of interest (I vote IN on both). No doubt while typing THIS a bunch more will materialize.

Oh and also, a bunch of us (misshell, nazis, dannydrooler etc. included) had the great good fortune to fly with the Duck in a bunch of games tonight! He was in good form all around, dishing out banter, bullets and tank shells with aplomb, challenging Danny to a one-handed flying match ... good to see.

I flew with Duck in several consecutive missions earlier today, too, Bopes. How he managed to chat articulately, kill from both plane and tank, and win a heated FFA mission I can't imagine. For me one outta three of the above would be a victory. Duck, you do not suck.

DIESEL would definitely be a great addition to M.O.M! I don't think I've ever broached the subject, he's not a player I run into often. When I do see him I run into his bullets before ever getting close enough to run into him. All eyes out for DIESEL, next one to catch him in-game throw him the news that he's in if he likes.

Samweb...what a stone cold M.O.M he'd make. Such a pleasant person, and a not at all shabby player as well. I do chat with him fairly often and have pitched him on joining M.O.M. A couple dozen pages back I mentioned that I'd invited him so he invited me back. He has a squadron of his own, and I do mean his own (he's the only member) and said were he to line up anywhere else it'd probably be back in W.U.DF where he'd been for a while. We should definitely keep re-inviting him, he's ideal MOMstuff.

As to the other new members and/or candidates:

Haven't heard from GODZA lately but he was voted in and needs to get tagged and bannered up.

Jennyfly seemed cool with the idea, sounds now like luke warm.

Still waiting for word from J4ff and 93.

Piduca? That isn't the name of a player I saw with the M.O.M tag today. It was similar but not that. I thought it must be the guy who dropped in and requested to join. So there might be yet another mock MOM flying around.

ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS? In game comments I make don't appear to me, they do to other players, it tells me if I hit someone's wing, but not if I shoot them down and end of game doesn't list me, win or lose.

Flyingmuck, are you using Android or Apple device? I have heard other people talk about uninstalling then reinstalling game to straighten out some of these issues.

Hi guys!!! I was told my Mean Ole Devil that this squad has a younger squad built into it. Well I would like to join it. Mean ole devil told me to deliver this to Sputnik because supposedly he runs the younger squad. Wigbomb, I am that Piduca guy. From now on, I will only use Pedrinho (in forum and in game).
Sorry for the tag, I didn't know that it would be put on my name after I subscribed to MOM squad via the "tools" menu on this forum...

I am 42 years old, but I am a noob. So, if my rank is too low for MOM, feel free to deny.
Any way, until the "squadron vs squadron feature" is not available, there is no reason to subscribe (I only did it because I am an old man - my wife says I am a mean one, but who knows for sure?

Hold on, Pedrinho. I believe there is very good chance for you to get into M.O.M. squadron. Just wait for Wig & other members to chime in. I do remember seeing in some games and you were just fine.

apoligy to dent and new jersey sry for leaving the game so quickly today it was a good battle
but i was cooking dinner for the wife and she came through the door in the mists of the game.
