Hello all....haven't played in a very very long time...my name is Mr. Camper...I am here looking for a good home...just wanted to drop in and say hello..please don't let my name fool you..I DO NOT CAMP..{well maybe once in a blue moon, only when it dictates} but I do love to travel the U.S. /Canada in my RV...As I am retired military a bunch of years! Ty..Mr. Camper...go RVing!!!

This is a copy of what i put on the dd thread so when i say whip and doom just remember that...just kinda more for info for the other squads (being LE and DD)

Well...we would be more than happy to have you (provided youre telling the truth about your name ) except that before i clicked this thread i saw your name next a couple other squad threads as well.

My biggest concern is thst i think only whip and/or doom will know you (cause i dont) and also what if we say yes but some other squad you proposed yourself to also says yes?

What i wouldve done is gone to your most prefferdd squad and request permission to join..if the answer is no then move on down the list until somelne says yes

Now dont get confused...im not saying a no..we will have to discuss it...just concerned that you requested acceptance from a coupleother squads

Admission to MOM is by invitation only. Which isn't to say you couldn't be invited. We are the mean old men.
It sounds like you have the old part down, tell me: does your camper come equipped with reruns of Jag and Walker Texas Ranger as I understand it they are both required viewing for members of the AARP. LOL. I saw you in game earlier today, but I don't remember you being there for very long, and I must agree with bird, I don't know you either, keep hanging around, and perhaps somebody will give you an invite.

This guy hit up the misfits a week ago with the same intro and then proceeded to tell them " FYI I've also applied to the wolf pack, so whoever picks me first gets me" or something like that...I mean how is anyone supposed to remember every detail from a conversation I wasn't in that took place a week ago. Very suspicious.......him I mean, not my memory issues....aw crap, I think it's time to up the dosage again....

If we ain't his first choice, goes without sayin, he ain't ours, unless he can prove his worth....let's say....he has to shoot down all our MORAF's twice before breakfast and then some.

You guys are a pretty vicious group....I posted on that on a couple of squads....it's a game for Gods sake....I hope you people don't live your real life like this...didn't realize I would get a STABBING RESPONSE....been out of the game for a very long while...but just had to speak my peace

Well yesterday he asked dd, LE, and MOM and i see his name by the MISFITS thread.....hes kinda poed at me lol...

And camper im sorry to offend you by what i said...these guys probably more than dd want loyal pilots so that is their concern as well...again i am not a part of MOM so what they choose is their choice...im just playing the messenger

We gave him a "STABBING RESPONSE?" Holy CRAP!! Ether I'm missing something or we're just a whole lot meaner then I imagined. I like his banner...

I don't think he really meant any harm, I just don't think he knew the way things are done, or knew to read squads page 1s before "applying"..... After some thought the banner looks a little familiar....

Camper, my advice to you would be to stop the squad search for the time being, play the game regularly for a while, and see who approaches you. The more legit squads will recruit YOU, not the other way around.

I can certainly see were some confusion might arise, the way some of the tiny squads recruit in game with no process at all

For all you guys that arn't retired yet, like me and mr camper, I made this my dayly routine for decades, even if it ment " walk walk squeeze " till I got through the factory door, always felt better to be getting payed to give a $hit...

Hi Camper,

You will find many squadrons are eager to get as many of new people in, but have a massive problem afterwards.
It's the kind of drama that can be avoided by being kind of cautious.

Best to fly about a bit and bedazzle others with your flying, or even better your good humour and standing your ground in spite of the odds.
Just don't become a squadhopper.
As you said: "It's a game." We try to have fun, and have an squad identity....

You have to appreciate thát. You wouldn't want to be in a squadron that hasn't, would you?

That might have work for all you hourly guys but I work by percentile . I didn't have time to take a crap. Time was money.
