OK OK I GOTTA TELL SOMEBODY, I went out to eat tonight " at a truck stop " and this traveling family of three sits down at this both across from me, husband, wife, daughter, they all order and get thier food, the little girl finishes her meal first and starts fussing about not feeling so good, the husband and daughter are sitting side by side with the wife across from them, enough time had passed and the waitress had removed the young girls plate and when she started complaining about not FEELING SO GOOD and her cheeks were puffing out, with her hands over them.... THE WIFE.... HEE HEE.... FRACKIN grabs the husbands plate , which he was STILL EATING from and puts it in front of the child were ... Yup ... Child UNLOADS... Dad, mouth gaping wide , STARRING at his wife, for what seemed to me to be FOREVER, " mind you mine must have been WIDE OPEN TOO WITH NO BLINKING OF MY EYES" drops his fork on the table, and says "WELL NOW CINDY!! DAMNEDEST THING EVER, IM NOT HUNGRAY ANYMORE, WTH"
Me... I am laughing so frickin hard I think I might pass out, the husband knows it and his face is turning RED, SO now I'm thinking I gotta get myself under control or he's ah gunna kill me and that doesn't help, just reminds me that I have to pee too, so I looked down at my plate or out the window for the rest of my meal. Wherever that family was going, I'm betting thier wasn't a lot of FRIENDLY CONVERSATION going on between husband & wife and I was OVERWHELMED with the feeling " GLAD IT WASNT ME"

Ok so that test post earlier was to try and attach a photo (JPEG) and it doesn't seem to work. I can load the file from my camera roll and insert into the text box but when I hit submit I get a blank white page with just the "done" button in the upper right corner. When I press it it takes me to the DF front (home) page. I can re-enter the forum by pushing the forum button but the post never takes. Anyone? Ipad2

Go into your photos and click edit. Then crop it, just a tiny bit. I have to do it all the time. I don't know if it changes something about the file but it works.

The pic was a sad tale.... Played a game, finished up and left to go run an errand. Put the iPad up in the cabinet where it always goes. Come home and pick it up only to see the corner smashed and the screen cracked, bad...of my four kids 8 and under I gave a pass to the 18 month old. I know she's innocent. All other parties gave the same answer: "I don't know what happened dad". If I was a wagering man I'd place the bank on my soon to be five yr old (provided he can make it one more month). When he was two and a half he victimized my 46" sharp aquis with a well placed musical instrument thrown at the screen. It still sits in my garage waiting to be recycled. We don't hit in this house so I thought I might have to go outside and punch the brick wall but cooler heads prevailed. The kid reminds me so much of myself that it's hard to wrap my head around sometimes but I'm pretty sure he's gonna be a real good pitcher, or maybe dodgeball...shouldn't let good aim like that go to waste.


BTW this is being written on my iPad, so the thing still comes on. To bad the worst of the spider cracking is in the corner under my left hand when I play. We'll have to see how that works out....

Ahhhh. The weather, a favorite subject amongst us rural folk.... We got a little bit of rain yesterday, however it was not near enough… We have been under some pretty seriouswater restrictions as of late due to the biblical drought we have been experiencing for the last three years… Our small lake here is empty, the two lakes we have been begging water from 50 miles north are 10% capacity.... The lake hundred miles north of here, where I spent many summers as a kid, and my entire family has kept their boat in the marina, no longer exists









Last year.....

This year all the water is gone and the marina sits in the mud… It cost me a fortune to get my boat out, because for many years I have either bought a boat in the marina, or sold the trailer to the boat, since I have a pontoon lift.... I sure have missed going to the lake.... Just to give you a general idea, if you reference the first picture, that part of the marina, used to be well over 60 yards from shore

I have known the owners of the marina for many years and would like to purchase it, but I'm scared to death that even if the lake got a little water, the marina would never float again

If you can wait four hours, they say the "Timing will be right", however if they continue to be hard any longer then that. You should contact a politician, and seek their advice....?

A lot seams to havet changed here.
Tryed to fly. Lag wasnt that bad but it felt like I was in slowmo.
Tanks and planes seams to need half my ammo to die once.

Diesel, you're in Wisconsin aren't you? Being in such close proximity to all the Great Lakes I wouldn't think precipitation would be too big of a concern... I have in laws in Chicago and they tell me they're ok on water.... How about you? If things don't change for our region soon, I don't know what will happen, we need to drill wells, but all the drillers are booked solid, and really gouging folks on the prices, think God I have family in the irrigation business


Bell, don't be a stranger, come around more often... As far as slow motion, the tanks and planes are bigger now so it just seems that way.. Also, it now takes 4 hits to bring down a plane and 7 or 8 to destroy a tank, however, the solder still only takes 1
