It does appear that squads are limited to 50. Just had to look for myself.
I like the idea of keeping the current M.O.M tag and the fifty flyers in it. We can cull inactives later.
Create a second squad with a tag which could look like M.O.M. I added a period at the end. Most wont notice.
Or it could be M O M with no periods.

This way, we can all appear to have the same tag.

There was some that didnt like the diretion things were heading and took a few of the MOM variations already. I think If a good Variation is found the name change should be made quick. Some read this thread and just do stuff to piss others off.

I liked the idea of M.0.M with a zero. In game it looks exactly the same but I looked and it has already been used.

The zero was one I considered and would work very well.

I agree that we need to move a little more quickly.

That's as close as I could get with the three seconds of Google searching I was prepared to invest!

I agree something needs to be done,my vote goes to M.O.M. It's as near as you can get.

I can be a little slow sometimes but I think am beginning to understand why we need to consider starting a new thread. Not getting rid of this one because of the history mind you.

When you have a new recruit for instance, you direct them to page one of your squad thread where they will find a current roster of members, officers and such along with the rules of the squad and the how to apply for membership instructions.

Ours is gone and I don't know if there is a way to restore or replace this stuff on page one of the current thread. If we can reestablish our NEW rules, roster etc. and have it appear at the front of this thread, I say lets do it.

If that is beyond possible, we need to consider starting a new M.O.M thread.

Umm, if we are gonna do this then I would say: get total number of players ina squadron. Take that and divid it by number of M.O.Ms and there are ur squads. Too rename them I think we should start another Topic and have ideas for names for our squadrons. Kinda like the way M.O.M was picked in first place
Then, to decide whos gonna run them. Pick people you trust. Throw them into the. New topic. As well
And have votes. Either by email. Or. The number of ty's that person gets. Will decide the first sq,
And so on...
Then. We throw ideas. On how the best way too comuinicate to the "offical sq leader" (did we allready dicide that too? Or did wig. Apoint him??).
And that should solve it shouldnt it? Any more qs. Just reply. To my post.

There is absolutely no reason to start a new thread Calvin, Bstrachan, And dent all have posts on the first page of the thread, all we would need to do is get them to agree to maintain page 1, Mc could delete the previous two or three posts as moderator and why am Bam we have a new page 1, or we could simply get them to agree to have muck log into their accountand maintain page-one himself.

If you study your mom history you'll realize that TBO did not start this thread shibe komph did, TBO simply used shibe's Account to maintain the roster. If memory serves flying mock is on the second page as moderator all he would need to do is delete about a dozen posts prior to his in order to create a new page 1 while it would be a shame to delete some posts 6 to 15 posts is a small price to pay not to have to create an entirely new thread

It seems to me we are making what small issues we have more complicated than they need to be if I had my say, we would just cut the BS, Put up a page 1,recruit once a year or when somebody dies, and spend the rest of our time doing what we moms do best killing reds and eating cake.

I'm on board either way, just simply my humble opinion, food for thought

If Dogfight would put everything on REALISM and HISTORICAL CONTEXT it would be an all out winner.
Maybe an Advanced Version, where you have breefings before, and you have to stick to your orders......and no ingame chat, parachute, tank options. No such thing in WW1. No more carriers, but trenches in a billiard table Flanders field. Fogg that can't be turned off, sun glare etc.
Anti aircraft guns, a one player steared two seater, with a second screen option to take the roll of rear gunner, inversing the stearing of the plane while shooting a persuer.........oh I keep rambling on!
In short, a more playable version for mobile devices only of Rise of Flight and War Thunder.

Realism is key to a simulation game.

It's only dogfight for me. I do not know the other game.

Not played much blitz as it lags,tanks dissapear and are unkillable on a regular basis.
Playing on hear and working means I don't have time to play both,but I'm sure there are people who have time to play thousands of games on there (but they probably don't have time to be on here as they would be too busy!)So it's a trade off.

Hello M.O.M, just thought I'd stop buy and offer any advice or help i can give you on maintaining Page one of your thread. I've seen talk of starting a new thread or getting others to agree to maintain it and possibly even putting it in someone else name. If there is anything I can do to help just ask I'd be more then happy to help. But first things first as of right now you only have one squad moderator to edit or do any work on page one. Beleive me it takes a team of people who are willing to spend a little time working on it, we have 3 and i couldn't do it without bzerk and foust it's a lot of work. With that being said you need to elect A few more moderator's as a squad taking a vote is always the best way to go. Then just email zup asking him to make the one's who have been chosen to be made moderator's of the squad. Any squad moderator can edit and add new members, update rules and even add squad patches to the first post on page one. Now if you are interested in putting it in another members name just let me know, i have successfully done it myself.

Yup Dogfight for me despite all the Apple grief.
I downloaded the tank game but I could not get the hang of the joystick thingy and my tank kept going backwards.
Also the terrain was depressingly bleak and miserable.
Finally the tanks WOULD NOT FLY!
If Apple ever get round to publishing the update Dogfight wins hands down.
PS has anybody considered a conspiracy theory about the delayed update?
From time to time we have had threats to sue Echoboom and I wonder if some individual with an axe to grind and contacts at Apple has put the fix in!

Hi all... My you have been busy typing ... I was up notrh in da UP EH... Snowmobiling. ... Froze my MOM ass off. Got down to minus 31 F degrees one night.
