I have tried my computer, phone and iPad.. Nothing has worked for me. I have capitalized different letters, bracketed different words, used periods, squirley thingies.. Always the same error ..

Maybe the name-change interface is reacting in a spam-filter-ish way and just blocking all the people trying to input versions of Kevin's name or call sign.

BTW was just in a game with Godza (is he affiliated? If not we should recruit-- awesome player) and Kapt. Singh among others and I saw the Kapt. had managed to change his name to [IMO - Kevin] Singh so props to him.

If the name is too long, it will say name already in use or somthing like that.....try shortening the name that you want to use.....

Bopes, it seems to be either a random hitch in the widget or certain characters alert the database's virtual bouncer and others slip through. I've successfully changed mine to three different variations and not so successfully tried two others. No logic can I find. S'nutty. Kapt. Singh has (IMO Kevin) in the middle of his name...Dent has legendofkane/dent...I settled on [wig]Legendofkane...keep throwing versions at the thingamawhosis, something is bound to stick.

I believe your aloud up to 17 characters....me he has a few to many......

On another thread, I flew with a guy who was an Air VM named Ender, and he's currently with 111th. He's interested in joining M.O.M. and said that he flies with some of us fairly regularly. He was impressive, think we spilt 50/50 when we went head to head over a couple consecutive games. Not many outside B Strach, Dent, and a few others hose me multiple times in non-bombing games.

Is anyone else familiar with this player?

Everyone,....I just successfully changed my in-game name to:
"oed/Legendofkane"

Oh, and I did this on my work PC. All of my previous unsuccessful attempts had been tried on my phone. But, I am thinking that was because I had been exceeding the maximum allowed number of characters of 17 which I was not aware of until this morning.

I guess smaller is better after all.... Kopf/Legendofkane , worked for me..

I just want to say thank you to all who have created this great squad. I've been going to thru a rough patch lately, and reading all the comments has certainly been like therapy to me. Y'all been great in the forum and in-game.

I was thinking for the Memorial tonight at 9pm I am going to request a flight in formation with

a M.O.M. member leading the way. Maybe a full lap around all bases and carriers at 120mph

3000ft. If we are successful I will drop back and try to snap a pic of the formation.
