Just checked back on for the first time since last night. Holy crap, what did I do to the Misfits? Was it something I said, or was it inevitable? Should I feel bad for initiating the divide, or relieved that I rolled the inevitable snowball? Will there be more peace? I have no idea.
Honestly, it's ironic that the post that sent them off was just the kind of post they always claim they want to see. A well-written, documented report of a player for innappropriate behavior. The P.S was merely an afterthought. As it is, I hope to remain friends with a good number of them. Let's work together to end the BS

ok, before a misfit sees this and feels the need to reply let me just handle this real quick, mac we know you have only the best intentions bro, but don't you think your giving yourself a little too much credit here? When you posted to misfit thread things were already wrapping up, the damage was done, and the leaders of misfits were already fully aware. Your post was fine but did upset some further but the ball was already rolling. Lets not speculate on the internal issues of another squad here please as some may only feel the need to respond and both GI and misfits have moved on for the better. Lets keep this thread about GI and feel free to pm me here or the website if you'd like to continue this discussion, thx for understanding

You're smart, loyal, level-headed, and intense. All the qualities we look for in a Gunner. You're one of five people I've ever tried to recruit, and I've never questioned my decision to pursue you. You're a fine pilot and a finer person.
I know I may come across as overbearing or downright crazy, but ask Gunnerzz what I was like when I first started here...


as for my last post: I think "blame" would be a better term than "credit." When I first saw the reactions, I felt terrible. I love the Misfits, and always have. That is why I left TASK, and that is why I was so disappointed with the initial reaction. I have nothing but the utmost respect for them, and I'm glad that any rifts that had grown between us are now gone.

Thanks Mac for the kind words As for the fallout, I feel the same way bud, thats why i was only trying to avoid a random member of their squad from feeling the need to continue things by responding, just trying to keep the peace. Your as passionate in what you believe as I am and i'm sure we'll butt heads from time to time because of that (if so please remove the batmask first) but just remember things we say can easily be taken the wrong way do to our intense nature and our posts may cause others to feel the need to rebut with their differences of opinion.

And Mac, thank you for being Mac ....wouldnt have it any other way!

Wow, a LOT of GI's in the skies tonight. I ran into Slayer, Joe, Gunnerzz, Noisyboi and Mighty all duking it out in Artois. Unfortunately, the lag Gods did not smile upon me, and I was disconnected. Three minutes later, I found Manic, also in Artois, and quickly capped off a CTC game with him. Then, the game felt fit to throw me into a couple more Capture games, in which I went 14-7 while outnumbered 6-2, and 8-2 & a win, 4-4. Fun stuff right there.
Hardly a day goes by when I'm not waving merrily out of my plane's windows as I fly by a Gunner. Usually, I remember what's going on too late, and they've already turned and shot at me. But still, lots of GI's out there, all fine pilots. We need boatloads more of them on the forum, though, wouldn't you say?

We have a small issue were down to 50 members and a couple good pilots want to join but there recieving a message saying squads full??? We really need to figure this out its hurting us for sure!!!

hv noticed many of our members missing from the squad list.. R they stil in the squad? Their names are just missing from the list? Or are they gone too? Its just us or other squads also goin through the same problem as us....?

hmm well the only difference i can see is that the squad list is now organized in descending order. that is very helpful to me, but not if we've lost all of our lieutenants....hmmm what the heck....

oh hey... I beliv we havnt lost our members. There must hv been a problem with the lists. I jus check on one of our squad members profile(his name was missing in the list too), bt found out, n it shows that he is still in the squad. So that's a good news. bt yeah, not been able to add new pilots....we needs fix..

So Not to sound like I want to steal members but since there is a limit of 50 if and when you guys down size Please send them my way We have 20 members but since then limit me may be cutting as we need also. All right guys, serious discussion time.

Squad wars is coming rapidly. Faster than we anticipated. And now squads can only have 50 players.
Is there any chance someone would be willing to create a Gunners Inc 2 squadron, and we'll put our lower level players/recruits on that? Obviously, Gunners Inc 1 would be our starting SW roster, but we obviously don't want to lose players.
I think we'd want to keep about 40 players on the starting squadron, and fill up the secondary one, and here's why. M.O.M. has 50 MORAFs alone. Wig will be reluctant to cut anybody, but if he has to, we wanna be ready to scoop up some top-quality players/personalities.

I'm still unable to find the website, which seems to have completely disappeared for me. I'll try again today. But we need to start duscussing this wrinkle. We have more than fifty pilots with great potential, and we don't want to lose any of them if we wanna become a Squad Wars superpower.

Also, is there any chance i can get reinstated as a Marshall? I would like to get back into some recruiting if we're gonna have to start being picky, and I can help with necessary cuts. I have no intention of ever leaving GI again, not even experimentally. If you're reluctant to reinstate me, that's just fine, just remember who recruited Horriblebreast lol.

To all Gunnerzz/ DD squad, I am here to apologize for starting the SPELLING thread, in sincerity I was not making fun of or degrading the person, just the words, I posted a public apology of MISFIT thread, now its time to do so here, it was conduct unbecoming of the rank and responsibility of a MISFIT officer, I NEVER expected it to turn into such a crap storm!! I cant change the past, but it is a lesson well learned, my punishment was my guilt, but its a new day now. Hope you guys can forgive me!

Thank you, Pete. This means more to us as a squad than you know. Squad wars is obviously coming on quickly, and we want to have as good of a relationship with every squad as possible. You are more than forgiven, you are welcome to hang out any time you like. I said before, I understand that the thread was merely intended for humor, but I think I speak for all of GI when I say that that's water under the bridge now.
