Thanks Sput.
as I have no proof I was a game mod, you have no proof I lied, but yes I do have a history of correcting people, plus I thought I said i'd probably dreamt up the mod thing.
Yes, yes I do. And you just said it yourself. You imply I too wasn't in middle school to hear the classic kid who has to "One-Up" or lie with everyone. You drove a truck? The liar drove a tank. You got in a wreck? The liar totaled a vehicle off a cliff.
Everyone knows one of these types of people as they're generally insecure and feel the need to lie to "prove themselves".
However, when confronted about their lie -- they get caught up and choose to fall upon vague statements.
In Dr. James Holson's "The Psychology of the Liar" he states (in summary); when a liar is caught -- they'll give a flurry of:
>I forgot when the lie happened
>Forgetting important details (In your case -- you don't just become the moderator of a game and not know the name of it)
>Falls back on other vague statements which is where they catch themselves up
I can continue.
But I digress. There's no need to admit you lied because you have already provided us with substantial proof by n
ot remembering the name of the game you claim you moderated.
Please, don't lie. I don't like liars and neither does anyone else.
