This is night 2. I flew by you last night, seeing WolfPack and you shot me down. Rules say avoid it when its Red vs. blue,correct? I know I couldn't kill you, yet, unless I got a lucky shot in, but i avoided my opportunity to get that chance. you, my "supposed" comrade shot me down. Then Tonight you did it again. I ask why and you howl? To me, that's weak. Game or not, shows me your mentality.
Sorry but WolfPack isn't for me. No disrespect to others but I'm not gonna be in a "pack" that hunts each other. I wont disrespect any of you in chat either. I'm not that type of person.

If you wanted me to stop shooting you down, you could have switched sides so we could be on the same team. Instead you called me a "homo". Remember, it was 6 verses me. When you came in it was seven vs me. It would have been nice if you switched sides to help me. (later on, Jesse from GI did switch, despite the odds, which I thank him for that)

Just because your are in WP, or were in WP doesn't mean I can let you fly past me and bomb the hangers. It wouldn't be fair to the teammates in the game, or to me in the said game.

Next time you play in a match with pack members, please switch to be on the same side as the pack members, and then you wont feel slighted. Sorry that I upset you so much. Peace.

Acctually, I apologize for the words WEREWOLF. But, 7 to 1 and you went for a pk. Member who never shot at you.
Secondly, as other pack members stated, you cannot switch sides, so I'm confused. Either way, I enjoy this game and will continue to play it. But, I will not be a part of any squadron who shoots a team member whether its Red vs. Blue or not. Comradery is Loyalty at any cost and I'm surprised with service members in this squadron and what its built on that that's not the case.
No hard feelings but to me, that's not LOYALTY.

I understand the position you're advocating for and therefore understand where you're coming from.

All in all, I find this situation stems from a matter of misunderstanding of the pack rules. Which is written in such a way as to create a fun environment, but more importantly to restrict the more skilled pack members from taking advantage of the less experienced flyers in the game, pack members or not.

Fair play and respect is an ideal that the pack subscribes, and strives to take serious.

Nonetheless, the practically of your suggestion to not shoot pack members despite their being on opposing teams is hard to obtain not because of the lack of loyalty, but because of the way the game code is currently written. Thus, I can't join in with your aspirations to restrict pack members from shooting other pack members when they're on the opposing team. Maybe the majority of the pack will see thing different, and I will of course oblige the pack and submit to that rule is the pack so chooses.

That being said, its to my understanding that you're no long a pack member, which is understandable with your stated ideal. I would just like to suggest to you that you form such a squad that gravitates around your interpretation and application of loyalty and code of conduct in DF.

I agree. Digger has always said to support the blue team you fly with and WP has always done so. We have accolades from many who appreciate our efforts to assist fellow Squads in game. Trust me, none of us like to fire on fellow wolves! I recall Viper once said if he enters a game with a wolf as a red he targets them first...why? Because we know each others flying style and it is to support the team. I have been on the receiving end of Viper's promise as a red numerous times!

Not long ago, switching to help a wolf or allied squad was easier--and that is no longer the case and limits supporting both wolves and allied GI's.

TRex, WEREWOLF is a longtime WP member and very loyal. Just a misunderstanding, it happens.

Werewolf, I agree that if someone is not happy they are free to go create a squad of there liking.

Well said, Red. I noticed this conversation last night and came right here to address the issue. I can see that isn't necessary.

To be clear whenever possible, and it is much harder today than it was a few weeks ago, I will switch sides to assist my brothers when needed. That includes our GI allies. However when there are wolves who are red its game on, with the exception maybe of a dogfight mission. You gotta play the game after all. I can tell you Bwolf and I have had some great turn fights against one another. It helps to sharpen our skills. I can even recall missions that included only wolves, no other squads. We got to do some great flying, played a game of tag, took some cool screenshots, and had a really fun time.

Each of us has our own "code of ethics" if you will when it comes to the game and what is fair and what is correct. I can see where Valiant was perhaps not entirely clear on what is considered fair and correct in this case being as he was brand new to the squad. However I sure wish he would have sought answers prior to passing judgement on Werewolf's gameplay.

I will be more than happy to answer any questions regarding this issue should any more arise. Red conducted himself accordingly and addressed this matter professionally. BZ Ole' Red!

Now, I read the intro to WP after the issue w/ my name and really it doesn't clarify the issue. I just assumed that NO WP member would shoot another down should the issue arise. I wouldn't and won't. Why be in a squadron then? Killing a team member is beyond my comprehension.
And to clarify, the first time was in a dogfight. Last night was a carrier mission and as he stated there were 6 other people, why me when I didn't even shoot.
Oh well. Again, I apologize if I offended anyone and I was wrong for my words. After all, if I met him in real life we could end up friends. Again its a game.

PS. To make it interesting and to pick my skills up, since YOU fired on me first, I'm calling the WP out. ALL of you!
