Just wondering how the new servers and subscription system is working out. Do you notice faster connections? Here definitely I do, but I wonder what's the general perception on lag/speed.

Hi Zup!!In the games I have played the lag seems an awful lot better.Fingers crossed!
I am an isheep so haven't had the update yet but will be paying as soon as it arrives.

Too early to say as I'm still waiting for update on Win 8.1.

Will u be adding more servers as I think presently two servers are catering to 6 regions ?

If you can add 4 more then definitely load will be balanced and then u can ask about the lag and speed. Right now the two servers shows up red in capacity at most of the times.

Hope with subscription inflow after getting updates on all platforms you'll be able to add required servers.

You are doing wonderful work being single person doing all the job to give us the best in all platforms. I know its not a joke to handle. No matter what happen, please never let your this cute baby (DF) go off from your hand.

Hi Zup,I was able to download the new version onto my Kindle I had to delete what I had and then reinstall it just went right to the new version I no longer have my fkker d8 but that was never really able to turn real fast with that plane anyway maybe it was just me but a lot of people said I should have been able to turn faster than I was especially with an upgraded plane .the lag is far worse than it was before for me but I haven't been able to purchase the subscription with an Amazon gift card does anyone else have this problem I'm going to purchase a prepaid Visa debit cardI don't want to give Amazon my card number.do you think that that will work

Soon after I updated yesterday, I had a game where everyone lagged (server lag I assume). A few hours later, games where starting ok except for one or two players lagging (maybe individual connections bad, or someone chose a weak server for their location?). But each of these games would slowly get worse, with more and more lag, and eventually all players lagging. Then I'd see the connection warning come up, and 50/50 chance of getting booted from the game.

This morning's games started ok, but half of them dissolved into game-wide lag within a few minutes. The others finished... but Cricket was on the other team so it didn't take long for us to lose.

EDIT, 2 days later: Nope, spoke too soon. Most games either start in game-wide lag, or quickly get there. I had one game out of 5 last night that was solid, little lag (except maybe a specific player or two), and stayed that way. I'm always choosing servers that are not red; sometimes yellow; and most often that other color in the middle bar (I can't see green but you all call it that; anyway it's not red or yellow).

Got to be brutally honest.So far there is still lag.Its more like star wars with laser beams at times.planes disappear then reappear and warp across the screen spraying laser beams.Longest lag kill so far has been maybe 5 seconds after a double hit.
I'm sure you'll sort it some how.
PS my fiber optic cable can get <25ms ping times to Europe.I get zero packet loss.My tablet can max out at 50 mb(home network is above 60.I play within 10ft of my router.

Lag seams to be getting better except for one player Dahun or has he is now know as=@= I have never seen lag like this one puts off, I watch all planes flying next to him very smooth but not him he is all over the place, he's also a tank spawn killer and should be banned.

I agree...i spawned in to a DF match and before I could get out, he tanked my plane on the runway

He will spawnkill from any way possible. Or try to anyhow. I've had issues with him recently also.

That explains it. =@= was tank spawnkilling in a df game the other day. Should have known it was DaHun. That seems to be his trademark.

I have had similar experience as Manfred. Most all games have been laggy. I have not had a green indicator on any server yet, only red and yellow.

I've seen red and yellow too, I thought this is normal cause everyone are on vacation now

Fest,artios and bori are green to me.The others are yellow.
I don't know how the south asia server is green and East Us is yellow when i live in the UK.

I'm think ms dahun needs to be hunted and spawn killed (a pass given by his teammates) everytime he logs in until he quits. By the way, shoot him down a few times, he will leave.

DaHun/=@= has always been a supreme lagger. If I didn't know better, I would suspect a lag switch. Also he firmly believes he can do anything he wants as long as there is no written rule against it. Doesn't bother with forum to check the very basic rules of the game. Believes he has a right to do anything he wants to improve kdr. Super Slik and I called a truce during Dogfight mission to hunt him after he spawn killed us on runway several times. Wiped him out quickly. He has been on chat "defending" his actions arguing that there are no rules. Used to team kill lots when he first started. Haven't seen that lately. I "hunt" him every time he is red. Pretty successful!

As soon as you shoot him down a couple times he usually leaves.

After paying the $2 subscription I have experienced a lot less lag. Thanks so much Zuperman

Game is still laggy for me. Far worse then before the server switch, but it has improved from the past few weeks when we only had 2 servers up

It takes a while for the payment to be processed and the details of the payment to register with the game. Give it a while and the payment will be processed.

The more folks that pay for the game, the more servers zup can set up dedicated as premium servers. The premium servers will be a lot faster with more capacity, so the lag will be greatly reduced. The payments we are making take time to be processed and get to zup, but I am sure that he will set them up as soon as the funds are available.

Zup, more than anyone, wants the game and the community to survive and become stronger. I ask all of my Dogfight family to just have a little patience, we will start to see improvements before long!

I noticed I was on the 'good' side of some lag last night as I was able to mow thru the reds a couple times without being hit.... was nice for a change.... and they were complaining of lag....I think I might have solved some my own lag issues by going thru and shutting off notifications from other apps and E-mail on this cheap 8.1 tab.... nothing worse than getting a notification in the middle of a fire fight!! (why is this thing out checking for updates and emails while I'm playing anyway!!??!!)

All in all it did seem much smoother and my lousy k/d ratio improved a bit....
