This may cross u as a goofy question. But how do u classify one as an ace around here. Is it someone that is simply "good". I know that in the real world. The term acw goes to someone that manages to get 5 kills. Well i believe most of us manage to pass 5 kills in only 5 minutes of a simgle game.

So i started thinking. How do we classify someone here as an ace. I thought well maybe we can do it by who can get 5 kills before being killed. Then i thought "well i dont know anyone with a krd of 5-1 so that wont work" so i had another idea, what about ranking. What if only out MORAFs where considered "aces". But that was flawed too. I know many pilots that can kick my tail any day and they r not MORAFs.

The way i have looked at aces is someone who has always struck fear in me when in a game with them. Someone who no matter what can always kick my butt no matter what environment we r in. But the problem with this is, what if someone i call an "ace" others dont feel the same.

So my question to u is, "who here can be classified as a real"ace" and why do u think they would be classified as an "ace"

Kes in my book you are an ace. You are a good teammate and fun to play with. Always like to see you on my side. To me that makes you an ace.

Blue Max
TheDarkMist262 (bloodmist)
Kingdragon
Davy Crocket One

Of course we all have our different "shifts" at the killing factory. Some of the best I just rarely see.

Agree with WTG's list and I would add ender...sniping is one thing but a quick sniping is Enders forte...no one kills me quicker

I argee with yall, but my list would have to add bhfoust,wig,Grey ghost, skydavis, vampire, swop, and 420. Thats at a low least there is many more i consider aces. And i hardly ever walk away unscaved when fighting them.

I have to say I agree with your lists as well. Lately I have been going toe to toe with Scombro, he is good in the plane and dangerous in the tank.

An ACE in my book, in this environment, is someone that flys and handles situations with honor and respects others.

Both in game and on the forum.

Thanks Kes, but im not sure if i can be considered an ACE! Your list is good, but there are meny meny more. WTG,Whip, Scombro, Dent, Yemx, Pownage, Jermy, Kevy, you Kes, GMoney, Dr.Dave, Suxxor, and the list gos on and on. I will say the every one named on here are great pilots and fun to fly with. but not to go against!

Rank should not play a factor in this question. There are so meny low ranks that can keep up very well. From independent flyiers, to new pilots in every squad! Wow, it is how you fly, present yourself in game and the attitude you have. Those are what makes an ace pilot.

I would have to agree with u Grey. Its more about character, not ranking. Like in real life, manfred Von Richthofen aka "The Red Baron" flew with humility. He counted kills as the planes that went down, not how many people he killed in the process. People like stache and korea r not aces in my book. They fly and fight only for kills and points. No honor or pride in the way they fly.

I know how to win games but I get shot down a lot by the real aces, probably 5-1 kill ratio they have on me... when I can get it closer to 2-1 then maybe

So, my requirements for an ace have nothing to do with personality. As long as they play fair, they are eligible. But, they have to be lethal. Sure being nice will get you places, but being damn good at what you do will get you farther. As i see it there are three categories for good playing, and these are the top players for these categories:
Tanking-
Socombro
Yemx

Dogfighting-
SO69
Blue max
~~~••~~~ (might be an unpopular one, but he is damn good at dfing)

Sniping-
Darkmist262
Mcfate

Some are good at all categories, but dont really stand out in any, and since that would be hard to judge, i left that out

Hey big c, i witnessed u take a dogfight gane and won it with a kdr of 15-1. And that one death was me getting a lucky shot on u lol. I think u also deserve to be on the list. I know i have a 35% chance of surviving a fight with u.
