The way i have looked at aces is someone who has always struck fear in me when in a game with them. Someone who no matter what can always kick my butt no matter what environment we r in. But the problem with this is, what if someone i call an "ace" others dont feel the same.

...then pretty much everyone in the top 200 -- maybe even 300 -- is an ace in comparison to me.

Hey plur. Lol. Yea alot of people strike me with fear when they r red. All that r listed and others that i cant remember till i fly with them.

Hmm...dint see myself listed...I guess I need to play a little harder lol. I dot fight head on most of the time but if I'm mad while playing I can make se insane shots.

I like your list kestrel but I enjoy most fights with those folks way too much to say I fear them. I get stoked when I can get into a difficult 1 on 1 with any of them. It gets a bit overwhelming when faced with 2 or more of em in a FFA, it can go on for hours.

I think Cobra should be there. He's a great flier.

Yep. I'm just happy that the game got separated into two levels, which spares me the embarrassment of getting shot down by aspirants -- which used to happen all the time and with regularity.

Yes, you missed a lot of the guys from my lists.

Without them in game it would also not be a game. Everyone here contributes to improving the skills of one becoming better at the game. Please add all the player's from NLR, Black Eagles, Enigma, The Jolly Roger, The Looney Bin, Devil's Dragons, WarDog's, Warthogs, The Misfit's, DogFight Clan, Black Sheep Squadron, The Confederates, The Lone Fighter Squadron, Kamikaze's, etcccc....If you were not mentioned, sorryyy, I am doing this from memory and I am at work. Last but not least, Yes, Swop Falcon's! These may be squad lists, but if I were to name all the player's in the game, that wold be even longer. I have come across player's that can beat the begeezuuss out of me in DF FFA, BTB, BTC CTC. I loose games all the time because of their tactics, skill, or even just their participation in the game.

I am not trying to subdue or rain on your noble effort to find out what the folks in the forum makes a good ace or who people think is an ace in the games they have played. Not my intention, just wanted to show that there are a lot of players and all of them contribute in one way or another. So that is why I feel they should be added. Just my penny and half.

On that Note!!!! These are my additions of the Aces that are tops in my book! Yes big C they are all MOMS!

Hey man i appreciate ur input, i will be sure to add them to the list. I know there is a load of players we r missing here. My memory is terrible so unless i fly with u i forget ur name lol. I just have CRC really bad. I forget or loose everything i own lol. I am bumping off someones wifi at the moment but when i get home i will add as many as i can remember plus all the guys u mentioned. The problem with these threads is that you always leave someone out. But I'm bored here at work so let me add to the discussion.

I think the interesting part of this is that your personal list shrinks as you get better. There were a lot of pilots I hated flying against originally but as you get better some of the fear goes away. Still, I could probably list 10 pilots that I simply hate seeing come up as red. You know it will be a tough game and you know your stats will suffer.

But I started thinking about the pilots that I just can't touch at times and came up with two (both have been mentioned).

The first is Sky Davis.

The second is Blue Max.

I think both of these guys are in a separate class and in both cases I have to adjust my approach when they are in the air.

With respect to the upcoming Squad Wars changes (believe it when I see it), the MOM squad actually has an entire section of their tactics manual dedicated to Sky Davis. We have specific formations and specific priorities when he is in the air. He's the only pilot where we've taken the time to carve out a section simply just to defeat him. It will be interesting to see if our planning works, but knowing Sky we'll be needing to add to the manual as soon as the wars begin.

So many good players that are aces,might be easier to name the one that aren't ...

Yes Zandor is right. I can't remember his name but when I was a noob, there was a guy that always shot me down. Oh that's right Saffa. I used to hate joining with him, but now when I see him occasionally I shoot him down!!
