One of the more incongruous objects in the game are the hangars that are roomy enough for people and tanks, but too small for aeroplanes. The usual cry for "shoot me" comes from players who want to be tanks, but this time it was an unfortunate pilot, Olafenluuk, from the Netherlands, if I were to judge from his name, who had tried to enter a hangar and was stuck in the entrance! Needless to say, I didn't shoot him, but advised him instead to self destruct and told him how to find the menu.

Poor Olafenluuk who was tempted to try the hangars for size, and found they didn't fit!
But with the Fokker triplane it is in fact possible to park in a hangar! None of the other planes fit, and even with the triplane you have to align your plane perfectly and inch your way in VERY carefully in order not to touch the walls and get stuck, but it is possible!

In the photo above, I failed to park the Fokker exactly in center of the hangar, the way I should have, and while I sat there thinking, with my right wing stuck, I was bombed.

I still just sat there, while two hangars on the other side were also bombed, and lo and behold! When my hangar was burnt away I was magically repaired!

Let's not get into details about that... When I upload photos to a computer I prefer bluetooth. It works even with iphones, even though they are finicky about what they want to connect to. Photobucket as well as the Google utility PICASA give you access to your photos from whatever device you want and wherever you may be, but the photos are reformatted and may become less sharp. We can discuss these technical matters further in the Dogfight Union of Journalists' thread.

That's a good tank photo! You caught the hit the second it happened! The battlefield setting is also convincing: you almost feel the smoke burning in your eyes, you can smell the sweat and oil and rust, and hear the rumbling of the steel tracks.

LANDING ON TOP OF THE CARRIER SUPERSTRUCTURE.
On top of the carriers there is a flat area with a guardrail on one side. Since the carriers go so fast and planes can descend almost vertically if they cut the engines, it is possible to land there. COMING IN FOR LANDING

ON TOP THERE IS PEACE AND QUIET
At least there was in this game. One thing I noted was that the guardrail didn't prevent the tail from slipping through, but it stopped the wings. Also the counter did not start, but I was given a new bomb, and had my guns reloaded.
