Nice effort Cypher7. Couldn't join the tournament as not playing much due to busy official routine till end of August. Will definitely participate next time.

btw... I think the tabulation of my results was a little off... I counted 38 deaths (rather than 49), making my kdr 2.65 (though I could be totally wrong, and it literally makes no difference to the final outcome ).

Thanks again for setting this up Cypher; it was super fun. I'm totally looking forward to the next one.

SNEAKING AND DIVE BOMBING AND OTHER STRATEGIES ARE ALL ACCEPTABLE.

5. SPAWN KILLING IS THE ONLY TACTIC I WOULD LIKE PILOTS TO NOT ENGAGE IN. THERE FOR. IF YOU HAVE DROPPED YOUR PAYLOAD , AND NOW ARE ENGAGING IN TURN FIGHTING, I WOULD ENCOURAGE PILOTS TO AT LEAST FALL BACK TO THE BLUFFS AT THE BEGINNING OF ENEMY TERRITORY OR MAKE AN ATTEMPT TO POSITION YOUR SELF IN THAT AREA. OR FLY TOWARDS THE MAP END , YOU CAN HAVE GREAT TURN FIGHTS AND BARN BURNING ENGAGEMENTS IN THE MOUNTAINS THERE.

6. THEY EVENT WILL GO FOR THREE HOURS IN LENGTH. 8PM -11PM PACIFIC.

7.LATE REGISTRATION WILL BE ALLOWED, CUT OFF TIME WILL BE MID WAY MATCH TIME 9:30 PM.

8. REGISTRATION IS AS FOLLOWS.

BETWEEN 7:30 AND 8PM, THIS IS APPROX A HOUR AWAY . YOU MUST POST A SCREEN SHOT OF YOU IN GAME STATS PAGE SHOWING YOUR TOTAL KILLS AND HANGERS.
THIS IS SO I CAN TALLY YOUR KILLS ACCURATELY FOLLOWING THE EVENT.

Good job to all who participated. I was there but too early for my kills to count.

So who won and what happened?

Well it really didnt happen, I tried to throw together a quick tournament and we just didnt get any real participants. I was really just aiming to get the pack together for a fly and some laughs. My high light of the night was getting to finally meet Mrs Viper. Now that made my week. We had a couple good games and some laughs. The Actual tournament faded in the background. And thats okay. When I put together the next event. I will run it like the KDR event which was a great event. Unfortunately at that time DF Elite was having horrible unplayable lag.

Maybe one day all the pieces will come together. Top players participating, a good tournament format that every one is keen on playing,. As well, the game itself .is in a favourable, playable Update period, that is conducive to a full on blood bath of turnfights.. And I think Zup has done a great job keeping it running smooth for the most part. So thanks Zup.

You never no whats around the corner in Zuperland. Maybe the man himself will appear in one of our events.
