although a 50 cal against WW1 planes is like a 20mm cannon against WW2 planes lol

I used to play an online game back in the '90s called airwarrior that had cool stuff like that, you would have hundreds of people in your theatre of war with three teams flying wwII planes that you could choose from each time you were going to spawn into the game, some were bombers that you could put out a request for crew members to man the gun turrets, we had anti aircraft guns at the airfields..... it was a lot of fun. That was running on a computer with windows 95 on dial-up internet, I think it was a dos based game by Kemsai. It was free to America online customers

Or what about a gun mounted on a destroyable platform you could man and shoot incoming aircraft.... once the mount is destroyed this option would no longer be available to defend the hangars, but while it was working it would provide serious firepower against incoming bombers.

Kiwi, great job on the vid. I'll watch it soon, it sounds fun from the other wolves. I'm glad you're running with the ball (or is that the chew toy? heheh) in terms of rekindling the youtube channel. I think its a great thing for the pack to have, as other squads don't have such a unique touch. Besides, more fun, more publicity for the squad, and more publicity for DF Elite, which can only be good for helping Zup develop and have the funding to do so.


Cypher, what song was it? You can put it in the background of the video more, and make it a little quieter, and then content Id might not match it. It depends really.

When I was on deployment onboard HST, I was running the maintenance desk for night shift. Across the P-way in the ready room the AW's would play halo capture the flag every night. Once I got everything going up on deck I would join them. Talk about addicting! We would have one 4 man team up on the big screen, and the second team in the back of the room on the regular TV. By far my all time favorite interactive video game. That was during the 2003 cruise.

I wonder if army guys play world of tanks together... haha

It wasnt Zup at all, no. The ministry of ground based vehicles and armour, in all thier wisdom, produced the MKI Wall breaker Sherman... I must say, a stunning invention

We traded lead several times in a prolonged BtB mission the other night. In the end, he was either a victim of the dread "connection lost" bug, or he suspected that I'd started "sneaking" on him and decided to leave the match.

It's funny, if you get a good pilot tied up with two or three of your teammates you can pretty much fly in really low right past him, straight up the middle of the lake, and hang a left right into the German base . . . no sneak required.
I doubt anyone is going to slip that by him too many more times though; he seems sharp and aggressive.

There's a list of pilots I do my best not to lose track of when they're red; if you do you typically regret it as you float under your chute. He got himself added to my list that night.
