Yes I'm serious. My youngest joined cubs this year and the oldest just finished requirements for Star. Very proud of them both. I really believe in scouts as a whole. So few boys are taught the common values today that were taught in previous generations. It's one of the few things out there to lead them in the right directions. I've been a leader for the last 8 years. I was raised in scouts. My father actually started a Cub Scout pack so I could join. There weren't any in the area. I unfortunately didn't finish Eagle. I was a Life scout and basically had to just do the project for Eagle. But got too interested in cars, working, money, girls and all the other things teen boys want. One of my very few regrets. I've told my oldest he can't get his drivers license unless he's an Eagle. I hope that's a motivation. Thanks David and kudos to you

If I said it, I said out of anger. I dont remember saying but if I did i apologize to them. I dont like to see people leave our squad and these people were the reason I joined Falcon and I was upset that they left. We Falcons are family, and when a family member decides to join another family it hurts and you take it personally. I didn't even know Mad had left until he was a M.O.M. so imagine my shock when I did find out. I was not happy at all.

So, sorry Mad and Mean if I called you traitors.

My interest in scouting as a teen succumbed to the same things. I was one of the youngest Eagle's out there at the time, and its a good thing, or I probably would have went the same way. As I said though, I appreciate you doing that. I've thought about trying to serve some role in a troop, but I only have daughters, and im gone already SO much with my job.

I was totally afraid of this. I step out of the thread for several days, and wham!! The whole dam thread blows up in my face. I'm not going to read several pages of the MOM thread because to be honest I can only remember maybe 2 or 3 paragraphs at my age. So if someone could, out of the goodness of their heart, briefly summarize (in 3 paragraphs or less) a weeks worth of the MOM thread, I would greatly appreciate it!! Thank you my brudas and sistas.
