I've been in 10 or so games with M&W over the last week and haven't seen him do anything negative. The only thing I've seen him do is light people up...a lot

I have played alot of games with him and he definitely took me out A LOT! That was the only time I ever saw it. I don't think I have ever seen him chat. Don't wanna tar him with an ugly brush, but I was victim to it and sat there burning and watched him do it several times. But only in that one game.

On another topic... M.O.M Shinto is NOT a MOMposter. Flew in a few games with him and got him to chat a little. He's never been on the forum and doesn't know what a squad is. I explained and invited him to come check out the forum and our thread. M.O.M stands for "Mother of Mari" he said. He's a friendly, not gunning for MOMs.

If he's flying with our tag (which I witnessed) and he's not a member that makes him a MOMposter.

That's pretty easy to deal with... I've done it in my d/f career, but always got killed pretty quickly. Therefore I stopped.
The way I see it its not some unforgivable sin, rather just something most here don't feel to be good behavior. Therefore, I would just plainly state... If you join MOM, don't sit around tanking runways, unless you are also there to blow up hangars. If you do, you will be asked to leave. Easy enough. The main reason that I don't do a lot of the spawn killing that I used to do is simply because that if I'm going to be a member here, I'm not going to do things that are considered poor form by the majority of this group.

Regarding MOM Shinto

Mother of Mari..? So far as I can see
#1 Mari is a ruler of Mali in the late 1300's and not a very well thought of one.
#2 Mari is a Mother Goddess I think within or on the fringes of the Hindu religious beliefs in the South Indian Continent.
#3 Mari is one of those strange Japanese cartoon characters, her husband works away a lot and she sometimes takes the
guise of a cafe owner, don't know why!

Now going to see if any of this has a bearing on Shintoism.
If it don't ....he's a MOMposter, unless he comes here and explains it to us himself.


Ok, I've returned from my little research trip, I can accept his Mother of Mari reason, couldn't find much that was direct, plenty that gives allusion to Mari, or a Mother Earth goddess most of the deities in Shinto originate from southern India and Buddhism. So if he's a good, courteous and halfway funny or interesting player, someone should invite him to come say hello.

Is he flying the MOM tag (meaning he joined up through tools) or did he just pick a name with MOM in it?

From the screen shot someone posted earlier it looks like the latter, unless things have changed since then. I haven't seen him in game yet so I have no personal knowledge.

No it says M.O.M Shinto for his name. I played two games with him last night and tried to engage him in conversation. He did not reply at all so I asked him to remove the M.O.M from his name. Still no reply so I shot him down as many times as I could find him. He was red anyways but I made it a point to seek him out. He didn't play dirty or anything. Liked to go around the long way to get to the base for bomb run. He's a very low rank so we should be able to get him to understand what the problem is as long as he will respond to chat.

I've only been in a handful of games with Shinto, maybe 5 or 6. I have tried to chat in all of them and no response until last night. I've never seen him with our tag. I agree with Tex, tag=MOMposter. But again, I think we should encourage him to drop by introduce himself. Until then if he's red, blast him, but at least say thank you.

so.....I'm not happy, just been in a zep game and whizzed off to kill them nasty reds as they left their base and quickly noticed my team mates, shouting, 'hit red' , 'that's our zep' etc etc. I proceeded to get 9 kills before being shot and when I respawned I saw 'jimmyBob' attacking our zep. I warned him, fired warning shots and he carried on. I then downed him twice for repeat offence and he started calling me a retard!!! He then told Gary the pink that I have been attacking HIM AAAGGGHHHH....... This is how it concluded

Played with crazy nut a few times last night he was flying his MOM tag proud and said he was happy to be aboard.

I'm a little upset it seems that 111 Swop and 111 gmoney are trashing two of my squad brother. Mad and Mean on thier site saying they have no respect for them. I have been in about 5 games with M.O.M. Shinto.... He is not flying a MOM Tag. He has MOM in his call sign. I really think it is one of our own, who has another account. I could be wrong? He has never said a word and probably won't. I say play with/against him and say hi or whatever, but as a MOMposter? I wouldn't go that far and he has never done anything wrong like team killing or anything else that I have seen.

I only go after MOMposters if they are acting up in the game...Teamkilling, vulgar language etc. I alway's ask first...MOM shinto has never acted up in game in my presence..... Right or Wrong...I don't want to make A bad Name for MOM.... I consider MOM's tolerable, with Limits to our tolerability...

PARROT: What we do at the chandlery (boat hardware) when someone needs a new flag is we ask for the old one. We then give them to the Scouts for proper handling. An idea for your troup to get their merit badge & OUR symbol of freedom is shown it's proper respect after service.

What would be the purpose of any MOM or wig flying as Shinto ? I'm confused Is a flying monk anything like a flying nun ?

I propose an amendment to the rules.

Amendment: Rule 12

(a) We the members of MOM respectfully request that Shinto MOM fly with respect and courtesy while in game. Please refrain from spawn killing, spawn tank killing, team killing, or use of abusive language towards other players. While you may not be a squad member your name associates you with said group.

(b) Shinto MOM if you adhere strictly to Rule 12 (a) you may have some of MOM's cake. Please wash your hands first.

(c) Shinto MOM if you must spawn kill, spawn tank kill, team kill, or use abusive language towards other players. We the members of MOM squadron respectfully request that you fly upside down. That way you will be Shinto WOW and not confused or accidentally considered affiliated with said group.

(d) Shinto MOM if you are wig. Stop that.

Can someone please inform us of the changes in the new updates...? Was in a CTC game when wig informed me the update had eliminated the sniper...weird since I had just gone sniper on wig. That's OK with me, but what else am I missing, and why can't they off the no-names while they're at it...?
