One of the fallen, a Captain, was inside the blazing building when part of the roof collapsed. Another firefighter was killed attempting to rescue him.

According to Coop two other firefighters are hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Some news reports are saying "one dead, one injured". This is the rare instance when I hope Coop is wrong. I fear that's not likely to be the case.

Speaking for M.O.M, our thoughts, prayers and wishes are with the injured and with the families of the lost and of all your brave fellows, DJ. It's a difficult moment for firefighters everywhere, as well as for those of us whose safety you risk your

Thank you for your words Rick they mean a lot..
And I infact was gald to be wrong the initial report was both lost there lives when in fact thw young firefighter survived as of now there were 17 total trated but only one fatality and that's one to many.
Thanks again to you all.

Coop, my thoughts are with you. Please give my heartfelt condolences to the Captain's family and friends. This has been a bad weekend for America. Six Killed here in the sandpit yesterday. Just like the Captain and Coop - brave and comitted. Hats off and heads bowed we will tomorrow farewell a few more of America's finest as they are carried up the C-17 ramp. I'm sure a fireman's farewell is just as potent. Respect and love to you all.

The Firefighter's Prayer

When I am called to duty, God, whenever flames may rage;

Give me strength to save some life, whatever be its age.

Help me embrace a little child before it is too late

Or save an older person from the horror of that fate.

Enable me to be alert and hear the weakest shout,

And quickly and efficiently to put the fire out.

I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me,

To guard my every neighbor and protect his property.

And if, according to my fate, I am to lose my life;

Please bless with your protecting hand
my children and my wife.

Coop, as corny as it may sound, I took a picture of a sign I saw in a shop a couple weeks ago. I took it thinking of you (I told you corny, right?). I meant to post it back then, but haven't seen you on the forum and forgot about it. I think it's appropriate and wish it was better quality.

copy the link, then go to your profile and click on edit, then look at the top where it says profile information in a box, click that and scroll down, at the bottom is a box, paste the link into the box and click on save. That's what I think I did!

Ok I'm assuming that when we start the flights of MOM we will have to tag our names. I sent an email to echoboom a few weeks back to get my password reset. No answer. Back when the game spazed out all the time. I had a reset done and I lost the paper i wrote it down on. I thought may be i could uninstall the game and reinstall but I'm worried that if I do and I don't have my pass word i may be screwed. Any one have suggestions? Or am I stuck?
