Well in both these pictures you can see a mod online, so why wasn't he muted/banned then, I've just received more abuse from him. This is ridiculous.

There's a low ranked (just out of noobservers) player called Samsbrother. He didn't respond in the chat. In fact he didn't say anything. Didn't fly like one who just graduated from kindergarten tho.

I think he/she/it would already have been delt with if he/she/it was going to be.

While I haven't had much faith in the usefulness of the Blacklist in a long time I still think we should all keep eachother informed.

That way at least we can deal with them ourselves.

The game has several moderators that don't even play or visit the forum anymore. Still moderators though.

Patience everyone. Our mods do what they can, and I know some bandwidth was spent on Snobumm's recent reincarnation and subsequent re-removal. As Max said, don't stop posting here. A little lag in action is not terrible. Even if reports go unnoticed, that's a heck of a lot better than having nasty behavior go un-reported to begin with. If I were a mod, I'd be saving my limited time for the worst offenders, and I honestly think that's what's happening.

One point of advice: Keep the Suspicions off this thread, so a mod can give a quick look and clearly see the Reports with Evidence. This thread is a little cluttered right now. TASK or a new thread might be a better place to keep ourselves informed about Suspicions.

So I am in game today and right after I join Cubanoloco of MOM was flying around saying "u mama" over and over. So I asked "What about your mother?" and he said "no u mama" well a teammate didn't like him saying that and tk'ed him for it. I laughed since I felt he deserved it...well the team mate left and he spewed filth at me after that swearing in both english and spanish. Other players understood spanish and seemed to know he was swearing...I needed translate but you can do that yourself. I think since he is no where near new and seemed to want to initiate the filth I think he should be muted for longer than normal. Screen shots below, Fab2Fab was there.

I need a mod on world chat now!!! There's a guy called dragon.ace and he is harassing everyone with lame and annoying insults

Well obviously, Dragon.ace is already gone it this guy needs a good muting. Whiplash, Ronnie Biggs, 420, and reck!ess where all there. He is a lvl 3 rookie and seems to get his kicks from unusual mama insults that truely make no sense at all. But he is also using foul language that requires several stars.
Mods can u do something about this, or is it beyond ur limited powers now

In the meantime, we can fire, i mean, broadcast some reminders on the noob server. Anyone flying?

As a matter of fact, in both these pictures you can see two Mods in that game.

Everyone who plays Dogfight knows that you miss almost as much chat as you catch. If we paid all of our attention to the constant stream of text we'd do nothing but crash. I remember this particular incident only because Cricket's comment stuck in my head. I did not see Sam22's inflammatory remarks. It appears that Reid did see them and cautioned Sam22 to stop. Seconds after Sam tossed off more inappropriate language (in the last screen cap here) the mission ended without time to impose an in-game Mute. Within the limitations of these screen caps I see nitroxhore using the C word before Sam does. Sam's comment is in response.

Sam has a hair trigger expletive gun for a mouth, no argument. Had this mission not ended when it did she would have been muted. If she spouts off like that again while in the presence of a Mod, the Mod will mute her.

I know that games up until this point with Sam22 have been horrible. Her story is that she was ganged up on in a DF mission and has been paranoid about people cheating ever since. Maybe real, maybe an excuse. She appears to not be a pushover. Combine that with being paranoid, and having a sharp tongue, and you have Sam22 in her current state. I told her to anticipate a temporary mute and/or ban for the screenshots that players posted in Blacklist. It is entirely up to Wig and the mods as to whether or not to mute at this time.

And yes, Sam22 says she is a woman, living on the east coast of the U.S., and a foreign speaker of the English language. I happen to believe all of that, but leave to you to judge for yourselves.

Sam22 stated via email that she will not use nasty language ever again, and understands the consequences. I also made it clear (I tried, anyway) that no one can cheat in the game, and to call someone a cheater just because they are better at flying and shooting will only make you sound like a whiner.** People can whine all they want, but we can't save them from themselves, and don't come crying to the forum when you have a reputation as a whiner and everyone is making snide comments or targeting you.

I urged Sam22 to use diplomacy when coming across a player who is breaking rules like tank spawnkilling and using foul language. And if the player persists, to use screenshots and the Blacklist thread, instead of spewing back foulness, which can then get her muted, and teamkilling, which can get her banned. Rude behavior like rampant spawnkilling (as opposed to a player just being skilled) can be brought up in the Name and Shame thread.

Sam22 says she is having trouble accessing the forum, and it might not be worth setting up a new Facebook just to get on it.

That's it, and I guess we'll see how it all goes in-game.

EDIT: **Well there are some Win8 ghosts who purposefully use ghosting to their advantage. But hopefully the Win8 bug is now solved, and I didn't get into that with Sam22 anyway.

Reporting deathstriker for foul language. He was spawning off our carrier, even though he was red & wouldn't listen to anyone about how it's unfair (he evidently has a history of this). Even had another red or 2 shoot him down for us after he refused to listen. I obliged to target him in the next game or 2 & he resorted to foul name calling. I assume he's a kid, or at least he acts like one, but it's no excuse. If he doesn't get banned, hopefully his squadron mates will at least have a talk with him. He's tagged for Black Eagles, but I don't think that's their style.
