Tradition is nice, but this contest was about "incredible" landings. Bouncing into a statue isn't incredible. Funny? Yes, but not incredible. Incredible is landing on top of the bridge. Incredible is landing on the wheel house of the carrier. Incredible is turning your airplane into a helicopter and landing on your tail on one of the carrier platforms.

I should add that there are a great many people that would appreciate it if you would follow the "spirit" of what the Hall of Honor was trying to accomplish. Which is to bring the whole Dog Fight community together and have some fun, avoid the negativity that has been infesting the forum, and make new friends. However, you and your ilk have decided to turn it into a competition, where you will do anything to "win", hijack the intent rather than have fun with it and vote honestly. So, since I don't have a lot of patience for such childish behavior, I have decided to not be a part of the Hall of Honor team any longer.

We're not stupid here. The last few HOH threads have all been invaded at the end of the voting period with all kinds of newer accounts that nobody's ever seen before. It's not an accusation, it's just a mere fact. And as soon as someone points it out, you guys get all bent out of shape over it. Why? Are you unable to see how suspicious that looks?

Don't get mad just because someone points out a trend. It's just an observation. Funny, how many of you claim the language barrier gets in the way, but you're sure pretty sharp when a subtle suggestion gets made...

Coincido con todos en que es tiempo de hacer una pausa en este asunto y dejar de lado las críticas y descalificaciones mutuas, creo que los ánimos se exacerbaron al grado de hacer pesada la convivencia entre los grupos, no sólo son las cuestiones del idioma, tiene que ver con la variedad de nuestras culturas tan diversas en el juego, cada uno ve las cosas desde un punto de vista distinto y peor aún, cada uno creemos tener la razón.

Hola to all DF players and followers of the HOH. During some of the selections we have been observing and increase sense of anger about the voting process. In every competition this is a normal thing to happen. But as members of the dog fight community that so much proclaims the word honor, we should first strive to be respectful of one and other. I understand the frustration and possible anger, but insults do not help to resolve nothing. So I respectfully ask each and every member of the community of DF to show maturity, honor, respect or whatever you want to call it, towards each other. Remember we all should set an example to the young ones that do participate.

In light of the questions that were brought up regarding the accounts of players to win the HOH voting process, I spent yesterday afternoon exploring all the FRESH BOARDER, forum and in game accounts. Yes the CSI/FBI thingy.
A few names I did recognize because I have play with them in the South American server. Others like some of you I was like who? But we have to be cleared that we get new players every single day and it is impossible that we can recognize and play with all of them. I did research only in fresh boarders, cause other more experience boarders we all know who they are.

Found 11 fresh Boarders and they are:

1 KIDD: He is a misfit started in forum on May 2015.
2 MIKO: He is a New Luna Republic started on forum April 2015.
3 AGNI_VERR: is a Misfit started on forum august 2015.
4 MARK DE BAIRES: is an Ala 21 and started on forum on December 2014.
5 PUCARA ARG: is Ala 21 and started on forum Jun 2014.
6 Ñ SON [ESP]: is Ala 21 and started on forum September 2015.
7 IVAN012341: is Ala 21 and started on forum July 2015.
8 Ñ RENSO: is Ala 21 and started on forum august 2015.
9 SCOMBRO: is a Black Dragon and started on forum September 2014.
10 DAMIANA 207 IA Ala 21 and started on forum in May 2015.
11 ABREU BRAVO92: is Ala 21 and started on forum in September 2015.

These are all fresh boarders but not necessarily new DF players. As you can see some have been on forum for some time but do not write that much. Spanish players in particular did not had a Spanish created forum until very recently so that is why you do not see much participation on their part. I did look for each of these players accounts in game, it was a challenge since names are not easy to find. But I got to find each and every one and all accounts are being used with good numbers of kills and games played. I have played with many of this players and can assure you; that this accounts are all from real players.

The Spanish squadron’s community is growing and that is a fact. When I started most dominant Latin squadron was Aguilas Azteca’s. But Ala 21, Black Dragons, Brasucas, Ases Del Sur and a few others are rapidly growing in numbers. Every day I see new Latin players from different parts of the world. Remember hat Zuperman the creator of the game is from Spain and the game has been advertised to the Latin community as well.
Ala 21 is an amazingly well structure squadron; and they use what Sapp and Facebook tools to communicate with each other. I have seen a very aggressive recluting competition among the Spanish squadrons that is surging the Latin player’s numbers in the game.

I once told Sky rip and Blue that for Latin’s voting and politics are like a sport. If you look the percentage of people that participate in elections around the world you will find that the Latin community loves these events. Yes I agree that a strategy to vote in blocks could be interpreted as too been used, but still you vote for your favorite and we can’t force people to choose what we want. Players like Hulk, Davy, and Lill have won and I have never seen anyone raise clouds on their selections. We should let the voting process end their course and accept the selection; in any way was this project intended to create insults and divisions in the community. In every voting process it is key to participate!

And this is what I saw.

1. MISFITS: 8 votes out of 75 members.
2. BLACK HORNETS: 1 vote out of 6 or more members.
3. WOLF PACK: 2 votes out of 42 or more members.
4. NEW LUNA REPUBLIC: 8 votes out of 37 or more members.
5. THE FOREIGN LEGION: 1 vote out of 50 members.
6. ASES DEL SUR: 1 vote out of many.
7. BRASUCAS: 1 vote out of many.
8. WAR BIRDS: 1 vote out of 36 members.
9. ALA 21: 15 votes out of 70 members
10. BLACK DRAGONS: 4 votes out of 19 members.
11. INDEPENDENT PLAYERS: 1 out of many.


We are having a very low participation of the members of the squadrons. When the HOH was created it was with the vision in mind to make it a fun way to bring the players together, to celebrate the accomplishments of others. I remember when Rodama won the best tank award many from all over the community voted for him. Rodama is an old, well known and respected player in the DF community; and still I saw comments questioning who he was and why he had to win. This was very unfortunate; still I saw how the community did give him the vote to win. The HOH is a very noble project and it would be a shame to see it fail. Sky and Blue work very hard to make this a positive project and the goal was to unite the community. Sadly we are losing the purpose of this work. I ask all of you to please support the HOH and trust the work and voting process. Have to stop here my lap top is getting hot and about to shut down. So bye!!! 100% de acuerdo con acegirl. Su gran trabajo pone las cosas en su lugar. Pero solo demuestra una cosa, que se ha tratado injustamente a una gran y respetada comunidad.
Por otro lado es cierto la baja participación lo que hace mas lamentable este episodio ya que los que acusaron son justamente los que participan.
Esto solo se cerrará cuando los acusadores se disculpen o en su defecto sus marshall. Si no lo hacen deberían ser expulsados de sus escuadrones como un desagravio a nosotros.
No me conformo con esto, estoy ofendido.

100% agree with acegirl. His great job putting things in place. But only proves one thing, you have been treated unfairly great and respected community.
On the other side is a low turnout which makes this unfortunate episode and more than just the accused are involved.
This can only be closed when the accusers apologize or failing their marshall. If they should not be expelled from their squads as a relief to us.
I am not satisfied with this, I'm offended.
