It seems to be one of those periods in DF where people are a little wound up and easily misunderstood or provoked. That said we are all adults and occasionally get a little off track of why we all like to be here.
My reasons

1. My Pack and squad mates who have become important friends and a place I can have a stress release from day to day life.

You are a great addition and charismatic Wolf. The Pack and myself love having you as a friend and squad mate. We all, I mean every one of us has had the DF monkey on our back. I'm off tomorrow so I decided to go up to the mountains and do some fishing. I haven't been fishing in years. Today I caught up on some sleep , stocked up in some new fishing equipment at walmart and ate some of those killer pepperoni rolls. I won't have any cellular service woa. It will be just like old times.My brother has a cabin up there deep in the mountains with nothing around except forest for miles. Sometimes I wonder if I use fishing just as an excuse to get away and spend sometime by myself. I use to hunt , fish and trap all the time but as I got older I got away from that. Wouldn't that be super cool if I seen a wolf or bear . I've seen some bears and coyotes and foxes up there but never a wolf. The game commission tried to introduce wolves to the area but I'm not sure how successful that was. Wolves travel a very large radius in one day and require a lot of forest. They have to compete with the abundant coyote population. Well regardless if I catch any fish or see any animals it will be great just to see and smell the forest. I used to go deer hunting up there when I was younger with my grandpa,dad,uncles,cousins and brothers. They have all passed on from old age and car crashes except for my one brother. Maybe it makes me feel just like old times and brings back some great memories. It makes me start to tear up just thinking about those days and how much I miss them. I know I know I sound like an old wuss maybe I'm just getting softer in my old age of 53.

Yogy all I can say is go for the time machine sh^t my brother. I too am 53 and today I went to a place called "Slide Rock", went there in 7th grade. It's a natural waterslide, I'm sure you can Google it for pictures. Anyways I had sooo much fun, I got the pockets ripped off my shorts and think I might have broken a bone in my foot (again) but it didn't keep me from dancing this afternoon on the old Route 66 and howling at the top of my lungs (cause I knew no one was around to hear anyway). So I say everyone over 50..make that 40 needs to take a trip back in time and do something they did as a kid all over again, just don't kill yourself while doing it....

YOGY, I am envious. I love to fish and my dad and I used to go all the time during the summer months when school was out. I haven't been fishing in years....... <sigh>

I managed to get through an entire game of elite last night without the screen freezing. Perhaps its fixed.

Just got back from the mountains. The streams were stocked and full of rainbow trout. It is such a beautiful fish I ended up throwing back every single one 26 in all. It was such a great day with that cold mountain water running between my toes and the air filled with the smell of pines surrounded by mountain larel. I seen numerous deer,black squirrels,beavers and a mother red fox with 3 pups. I can't wait until Tuesday to do it all over again. I probaly was the only human around for miles . Did you ever wonder what it's like not to see or talk to another person for an entire day . Maybe I'm kinda weird but I think I would very much enjoy that for along time. Hey did you ever watch that program on TV called " ALONE"? I can guarantee you those folks would not stand a chance against me because I would surely outlast everyone of them.

I mailed Zup about the Windows connection Problem. He said he did a bunch of fixes yesterday. I reinstalled game today. Its better but I still get booted. I am just going to tough it out till he gets to it. Poor guy has been crucified and burnt at the stake this last while lol

I forgot all about my cell phone I could have at least taken some pictures. When I go back up on Tuesday I will get some good pictures. This time I am going to keep some trout and cook them over a fire.

Thanks. Yes I am still here and plan on staying for along time. Sometimes things happen and I overreact. I don't always say or do the right thing but I do have a big heart. When growing up even into my 30's I always had to be Mr.toughguy. Maybe because of my size I had to prove I was the toughest in town. Maybe it was my father who strapped the boxing gloves on us boys at a very young age. I have been in many bloody slugfests over the years to get my father's and friends respect. We never used the L word " Love "in my father's presence . God forbid that would show weakness . Now I look back at all this and tell myself man that's just stupid. I tell my daughters that I love them everyday and give them hugs. You never know if that will be the last time you see them. I never did tell my father that I loved him now he is gone. So enough of this bs I guess I should say I LOVE YOU WP.

I have lots of family in Pa. and spent a lot of my youth in the Pocono mountains. As much as I love Florida living I will always miss Pennsylvania.
