Kimber got his 100 kill game, and frankly with all these 150, 200, 250 kill screenshots that I've seen our wolves post, I'm a little embarrassed to be posting this.




This part of the post is long and is not to brag on myself, but to brag on a couple of our wolves.
One pilot that is missing from the screenshot is Quilby, who was there early on and left when my tally was in the high 60's.
It's a miracle I got this because I can't play for more than an hour, cause I get too hyper sitting in one spot.
Don't expect this again, cause it just takes too long.

It ended up being Gonchon and myself against Josey Wales and Quilby.
There were other lower level pilots that came and went.
Josey and Quilby were and even match for us and it was a blood bath.
Quilby leveled up to 18 during this game and I was blown away at his straight on fighting. Kimber was getting a little insecure at getting owned by this lower level player, and I really had to focus.
They were down to a few hangars and were very stingy. When Quilby had to leave I thought that we would be able to end it.

At Quilby's exit Josey decided he was going to be the badass in the game.
I don't know what got into him but he morphed into a beast, and at times took both Gonchon and myself out.
Josey finally let me know that I was up to 90. I've never been a numbers pilot, but I did want this.
Josey sure made me work for it and showed no mercy.
Ever since I've played this game the Misfits have always been considered to have most of the top tier players.
But I'm telling you the Wolf Pack has a lot of pilots coming up that I feel will propel this squad to that level (maybe we're already there, idk). Kimber will soon be leveling to 30 and I have come to the realization that he'll be a MORAF who's getting owned by most of his lower level team mates.

never figured I would play this game decent enough to come this far. Level 26, closing in on 27, smelling reds better than ever. My defensive skills are turning out to be deadly if one gets close to my base. Been successful at high altitude bombing.Got a hanger tonight from over 10k high.

Not a,great shooter but my skill set is more a sacrificial lamb to draw red fire. I have over 8k in kills. No way am I a top pilot, but nobody dives out of ammo, into a guy getting past us, like I do. unarmed, out ofbombs, my plane is my only weapon. I get a new one issued all the time.

Please look for a pilot named readymade. he will be applying to Wolf pack as I have issued a invite to him. He is only a level six but he is going to be one of those natural killers. I figured we need to grab him now. He requested to join about two weeks ago. I asked him to levelup and get some experience. He honourably followed these instructions and has shown exemplary character in game. Please accept this new pilot.

Kimber, I loved every word you said. You have been here longer than I. And im so excited for you man!!! You my friend are about to enter the MORAF death march. From lvl 28 to 31 it's a hell of a ride. Like Dunc said reeeeaaaaLLy late one night, "It's all been a blur, I can't even remember being lvl 29." I remember doing it in about 3 weeks. Just the other night BigGunzzz and I were saying remember those 20 hour days!!! Jeez what we're we thinking!! I chewed 3 cans of Skoal a day back then.LOL. I love seeing the newer guys with all thier passion, intensity, and motivation to succeed. . . .to hit the mark. . .to wear the title {WP}MORAF.

I'm told its called WOLFS BLOOD makes us think we are flying all the time , it gives us a edge I'm told tho u may have to ask a player like dunc7 or viper to get it confirmed

Also players will need to really to the pack on elite as for some reason , when u migrate over u have no squadron

Just wanted to stop by and give props to one of your probies. Quilby505, man what a shot. Kinda reminds me of whitefang when he was a proby. Was one of those things where I was suprised to be shot by a noob like i was. Gj quilby. Hes definitely a catch. And quilby if you read this the reason why you had a tough time hitting me is because i kept changing air speed. I do that when someones a gd shot like you. Keep up the good work buddy.

I got the first4 hangers pretty quick but he started getting on target. I didnt have time to try to finish the game. Any lesser of a player and the game wouldve been over. At least i knew who to worry about in the future..

Its very true most top dogfighting pilots use throttle management, it takes time to learn when to throttle down and back up but the way I see it our quilby is a very fast learner
Actually want to take this opportunity to praise all the packs newer members , most of you make me look a amateur,and I been playing about 8 months , so keep up the good work , just remember its a game and the pack play with honour

Thanks legionz. No awards needed. Tomorrow I will post on the tournament thread more details about how this will all play out. This is my first time organizing anything like this. So I am sure there will be some bumps. First and foremost, this is to be a loose casual game. Its more about getting together for some laughs and to put this new game though some testing.. Also I welcome any input or ideas any squad member may have.

Thought I'd leave a quick review of elite, but first congratsulations to White Fang and Huck for their fantastic flying.. Both the total number of kills and the K/D ratio show Ama'n flying ability.. Congratulations.. Yes indeed Whaite Fang will soon be in contention for the DF top ten..

I haven't had a lot of stick time latley, so I truly enjoyed the first two nights I had elite.. The bullet drop only makes the game more realistic.. I'm also a level 15 which is nine or so less than on DF, but as long as we're all even (which I guess isn't quite the case yet) in terms of DF and DFElite it will work out..

I was struck with the difference in the visuals as well, and have you noticed that the fields appear to be closer together.. The flight time between them (BTB games) seems less.. I also found the plane target more difficult to aquire, and will try the name sizing to see if it's makes it easier..

My only major issue with elite is the lack of pilots on it.. Two days ago I went all the way around before finding one other pilot (sharpshooter GI) we had a good game together.. Sharp had a head start on me with hangers so won the game, but at least I managed to shoot him down a few more times than he shot me.. This was the first time I'd flown with Shap, and hope it's not the last, seems to be a great guy, and besides being fun to fly against he also offered positive input on the new game..

I just finished going all the way around the map, all six servers, and was the only one flying..sure hope that changes and we start seeing larger numbers of players on elite.. I'm afraid the inaugural elite event next Tuesday will be a no show for me, that's Super Tuesday and nothing but enjoying election results planned for the wife and I.. Hope you all enjoy the party..

This is true for some players. Zuperman moved all the players in their respective squads prior to launching elite. So if you happened to join the squad between when zup moved the players and when elite launched you would have been left out of the squad. Just request to your respective HG and you will be welcomed.

Is anyone else unable to see the squad roster in elite? Mine just sits there loading but never populates the player names.

Finally got an email back from jouquin. They are working on getting my planes and tank for elite. I'm at level 15 air comadore. Reg df I'm at 28. I don't know if this is right either will see. So far I like the graphics I think I am use to bullet drop. But that name tag thing takes getting used too and acquiring target.
