I'm the same mate plus not in the pack have half my kills but extra deaths from somewhere but actually think the game is a massive letdown so far , there is talk of game going console but how they expect that if no one plays the game or it crashes and controls need resetting every game . Great place to train but that's about it

My planes are so sluggish in Elite. Tier 4 plane flys like a tier 1 plane. I am not competitive at all in elite. Super wide turning radius as well. I play on a good laptop as well.

Elite has some issues to be worked out for sure but ive been on Elite since day one and i see Zup slowly working out the bugs. Once it is refined it will beat DF hands down the clouds, hiding behind hills tanks hiding in the trees, all cool features. New strategies will be the thing to develop. Lets keep practicing wolves and be patient.

White Fang's straight on attack is just ridiculous.
I haven't seen much of his turn fighting or tanking, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're equally as good.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and make a prediction, and you all can remember Kimber said it.

I think that someday when Fang makes MORAF, he'll be the new "MEAN".

My plane seems really slow also.
Right now I have all my planes, my upgrades, tank,......everything.
My stats are a few k lower, but that's just what they were when Zup migrated everything over.
So I'm not experiencing what some of the others are.

Tx, you were not in the Pack when Zup migrated all the info over - so I think that's why you had to re-join.

Anyway, using my top tier plane the game feels a little sluggish. Not the kind from lag, but...........I can't really explain it.
I'm ok with the bullet drop.
My big issue is finding the enemy plane within the pilot name.
There is no rank insignia to help reference where the enemy plane is.
At a long distance the plane is "up" within the name. As he gets closer the plane itself ends up completely under the pilot's name, like the original DF.
Dannydrooler instructed me to adjust the name tag size in my settings, which I did. This has helped.

Kimber finally got 100 kills, but my screenshots are now too large to post.
So I'll have to work on that, in order to get it posted.

Which cockpit view do you guys use?
I use the "wide open" view (Simple -for slower systems). I actually have a new device, but I like the look of the wide open view.

The "cock pit" view (Realistic) is too confining for me. The bullet hits on the windshield are pretty cool.
Is there something about the "cock pit" view that actually makes it better, besides it being just a personal preference thing?

I prefer the cockpit view but use both. It's just which one you like more.

200 kills, How is that even possible lol. Fang we need to have a get together and give me a little training session if you dont mind. Dunc has helped my turn fighting drastically. If you could give me a half hour of long distance practice ill share my Wolfy jerky snacks with you hahahahaha

I agree Kimber, its def not a lag thing with the plane. I found that if I stick to cockpit view the plane jumps up a couple levels in responsiveness. But I like flying in plane view when I am not engaging the enemy or I am flying in a defensive or aerial maneuvering to avoid incoming fire, such as you would use in CTF games. I also dont like the plane moving from top of tag to bottom. I am hoping this was a programming error and not a permanent aspect to the game. But I do agree with cush. The game will be superior to the original. I also think it should be 5 a side. With all the new features, cloud, cover, hills hiding you, forest etc. Sneaking and strategy are going to be a big part of elite. And I am excited about that:)

It really is a kick in the junk when you get muted. 80% of the enjoyment is being able to communicate with your friends and solve all the worlds problems online lol. I hope elite has or will be moderated more consistently and fairly. As well DF needs a better Technical/Support game link. Especially with the release of elite. All of us DF veterans understand and are for the most part patient with all the bugs, game glitches etc. But new players that try this game and experience all these problems and have no real clear way to get help or have questions answered. zup is basically just leaving a bitter taste in there mouth. They play once and then walk away. Wow I just went on a rant hahaha. Any ways if I see Zup in Elite I will bring up this muting issue and the lack of good fair chat moderators.

This was a long hard game for sure. Jolly was red the entire time. When cush showed up I got help tho. He is definitely a great pilot. Thanks again brother for staying. On the other hand I don't know who has the most kills in a single game or how to find that out lol.I just like to fly and have a great time. This game was definitely a GREAT GAME. Alot of good pilots came and went. I'm just glad my battery lasted till the end I was starting to get scared it wouldn't lol. I have alot of respect for this squad and I'm really glad I can be apart of it. Thanks
