I would like to share with the WP an incident that just occurred during a BTB mission. The player MEAN falsely accused me of dropping. I always play this game fair and do my best to be honorable and show good sportsmanship. When I was falsely accused of dropping I lost my cool and used some words from which I am not proud of. I take any accusation of unfair play very seroius.There was a member of WP that agreed with MEAN that dropping was fair play. The way I see it the only time dropping is fair play in a BTB mission is when your hangers are overrun and bombed or if a tank is in close to your hangers. I have noticed that all members of WP are not only good pilots but are also more importantly good sportsman. I would like to apologize to Dog wolf for my choice of words but I strongly disagree with his game ethics.

Well spoken, shotgun. By the sounds of it you had a very spirited match, enough to get the emotions flowing. I also agree with your ideas as to what is fair and ethical and what isn't, however there are so many schools of thought about the dropping subject we kind of leave that to the individual. Game situations change quickly and each game is unique. That makes the decision to drop or not a grey area and should decided by the individual pilot at the time. As a rule, dropping just to shoot defenseless bombers and pad your stats is widely frowned upon in the community. That isn't Dog wolf's style.

Viper you took the words out of my mouth Dam I'm going to probz add a few extra to the Wall of Honour I'm thinking of Hangers when you get to 5k on wards and raise them in 10k so 5k Hangers 15k Hangers 25k hangers so on any thoughts guys and girls?

Hello Wolves.
It became a special day today.
I've reached the two goals.It is a hangar bombing 1000 and the world rank 500.
And in the training of tanks that are working from this week, and we were able to experience for the first time destruction of the hangar by the tank.
However, success in tank training is due to too poor tank maneuver of pathetic feeling was Sir Davy favor but.
Grateful to RCfliyer who have suggested the importance of tanks training, and thanks to Sir Davy for giving me the training of environment.

Wolves. By now you all have likely noticed LiLBadGal has left us for the land of the Misfits and are likely wondering what happened. I feel I owe you all, especially those of you who were recruited by LiL, an explanation.

I PM'd LiL to get her input on a promotion. We have several jobs open including Admin Officer and Master At Arms, both of which were recently vacated and needed filled. I asked LiL which job she might be interested in as my plan was to promote her into one or the other position. While attempting to explain the job duties, I informed her that one of the jobs, the MAA, is more of a title than anything that requires work... but my wording was such that she understood it as I said she didn't do anything. Now I consider myself fairly articulate, but re-reading my pm I was able to see that my wording could have been more clear. LiL has done a ton for our squad and was understandably upset, thinking at the time I was saying she didn't do anything. The reality is the job of MAA doesn't really do anything, and I think I put it something like "you could take that job because you don't actually do anything", meaning of course the job offered not the job she had been doing. Obviously this was a huge misunderstanding and entirely my fault for rushing the PM and not proof reading.

With my schedule I get about 1/2 hour a day on the game and forum on days that I work. By the time I got back to see what had happened LiL had left us and been accepted into the Misfits.

I cannot speak for LiL, but I can say that I have absolutely no ill-feelings towards her. She had served us well in her time in Wolf Pack, and I was sorry to see her go. I had no choice but to wish her the best in her new squad, and thank her for her service to WP.

We have a great bunch of folks here and I work as hard as I can to keep our best interests in mind when dealing with the administrative side of running things around here. Unfortunately there is a huge difference between media based communication and face to face interaction, and my forte seems to be face to face vice media based. As a US Navy CPO, part of my responsibility was to train the junior officers and newly selected CPO's. One of my personal pet peeves were the ones who wanted to pass instructions via email or social media, and I would insist they do business face-to-face in order to prevent things like what just happened between LiL and I from happening. Face to face is impossible here so there is a substantial likelihood there will be future events like the one I just experienced. That's the nature of the beast.

I take full responsibility for LiL's departure. Make sure that when you see her around you say hi and wish her well in her new squad.

You are a great group of folks and certainly have enough solid wolves to overcome almost anything the game or its players throw our way. Putting this into perspective this is still a game that should be fun for all of us. We are going to see folks come and go, and some of them may be brand new or old salts. We are strong enough to overcome the loss of any one of us and still be a very successful and respected squadron.

I will continue to run the squad in the same way we have so far and do the best job I can in the execution of my duties. I owe that to each one of you. Im going to make mistakes along the way, we all do, however I hope none of you lose confidence in my ability to represent us as Wolf Pack.

Lastly, my door is always open for ideas, recommendations, or just to come on in, kick your feet up, and shoot the breeze over a drink. We are in this together as a squad and as a family.

I admire the speech you made viper, and as you said, you will make mistakes because you are human and so are we. You have irl experience of leadership yet, your still human. You win some and then you lose some. I feel bad for both sides, not just for lil, but also to you and the entire wolf pack family. In the end, lil will probably always have some of that pack blood in her. Once a wolf, always a wolf. And I won't howl because I'm not a wolf, but if I could, it would be in all caps for 3 lines just for lil and then another line for wolf pack.

I have been visiting the threads of different squads on this forum and enjoy reading some of the posts. It seems to me that most squads in dogfight have a leader which does very little or nothing at all. Only a very handful of squads are very active and have good leadership. The WP is one of those squads which show the leaders are very active and spend a great deal of time making and growing the squad into what it has become. The WP members should all be proud of one another but also very proud and fortunate to have leaders like viper. I would consider him the best of the best.

Viper brother I know leadership roles can take a massive toll in a misunderstanding and that it is such a unfortunate event that Lil has left the family she was the mummy wolf to all the new wolves I wish her the best with the Misfits But I'm sure I Speak for the whole family that if Lil wanted to return home to the pack she would be welcomed in a heartbeat and as Levi pointed out Once a wolf always a wolf this goes to all the old originals including those from over a year ago when Digger set up the squad.

I was in the middle of all this and also very upset as Lil and Roy are my best friends. Roy still remains here with a second acct and he says he will start flying it and do the double moraf thing. I have been in 6 squads I think. It was never a fit until the pack. We have a very special group of guys and it feels like family. From here in the states to Japan to England it is a very small world. Where else can you go and make friends all over the world. I mentioned this to some of you in squad chat but I want to say it again. THIS IS A GAME. A game that lets us make friends. I hope to have dinner with Davy very soon and Roy and Francine have promised to come see me as well. Who know, I may jump in my bonanza and come see you. Well not deli or Bici. My fuel won't let me cross the ocean. Anyway thanks to this squad for giving me a place to unwind and shoot reds. Viper is the best and he puts in a lot of time to make our squad so good. It was a great honor to level up with him in the same game. Look at his stats. He is clearly our best pilot but he can't fly as much as some of us because he has duties and work. My hat is off to him and all of you that make us a very strong and respectable squad.

It was pretty funny!

This represents my highest score and best KDR over 75 kills, and it just tore me up to hit that last hangar knowing how close I was to another star! It was the right thing to do, though. Deli, would it be possible to have each member of the Pack have a registered personal high score as long as it was proven by screenshot? I know mine doesn't compare to Viper's or some others who have 4 stars, but I'm proud of it. And it gives me something to aim for, you know?
