Ok I went into a game today with Bubi in it, Dunc showed up too but then went to bed.

Well, at first when I went to chase Bubi, his stupid team started teaming up on me, even when I told Garzo what I was doing. He didn't care, he was just after kills like Bubi, even though he said he hated cheaters (but without dropping).

Eventually Bubi did a sneaking run and got a hanger, but then camped and spawn killed. How do I know it was spawn killing? Because I sat with my breaks on as he came around to shoot me sitting there, and my team mates.

I started searching for him and found him trying to sneak again, the first time I hit him three times and then he auto-destroyed, and then the next time I got two hits into him before he auto-destroyed himself. (at that time Garzo was trying to take me down again as well, grrr don't they understand?)

Anyway, how pathetic is Bubi that he will auto-destroy rather than get a death. I would have kept after him, but the reds got through my noobs and bombed the last hangers.

I'm sorry, Eagle. The first thing that I saw when the game started was you telling Bubi how pathetic he was, and I thought, "Go get him, Eagle!". My next thought was what I shared with you, something like "Dear God, not Bubi again!". I only started the game to find out where I stood in my race to Moraf. I was already depressed, feeling like every wolf I flew with last night was better than me. So, then I see you and Bubi, and I simply lost my cool. I did the opposite of normal and ran from the fight straight to bed. So, I am sorry I deserted you, Eagle, and I totally understand how you feel. Bubi's team keep trying to play normally, and he takes fully advantage of it. Sounds to me like you did everything one man can do and then some.

Ok Dunc here's my take on things. Bubi is a bubi. I've flown with and against him/her many times and that's the way he/she plays. Stat padding players are that rotten apple that spoils things, unfortunately. He/she isn't the first and by far not the worst. Your choices, as I see them are as follows.....

1- leave 2- make the offender your primary target no matter what happens elsewhere in the game 3- try talking reason

#1 isn't fun if you don't subscribe
#3 usually doesn't work, either the player ignores you or starts their own verbal assault and their game play remains the same (there are exceptions however they are rare).

#2 is the preferred method but has the potential to either make you a target because you appear to be picking on someone or cause your own stats to suffer. Not to mention that if you do drive away the player , they now have free WC air time to bad mouth you without you realizing it & being able to defend yourself (no problem if you are known but what if you're not?)


That's how I see it but always remember that it is a game, some players are quite young, & above all that your conduct reflects on the Pack. So sometimes like a wolf the appearance of haunting dignity
prevails.

Thought you all might get a kick out of this: I've got a bet with PREDATOR as to who makes it to MORAF first. He kept asking me each time we flew how many points I needed to level up this last time. My last answer was 175,0000 pts. He needed 120,000. So, wolf pride being what it is (!), I told him I would spot him the 55,000 point difference and still beat him. Now, I'm wondering if this was such a smart bet on my part. I found out that he has been playing for 3 years, and I've only been playing since January 5th of this year. That's a lot of experience to overcome plus 55,000 points! Owwwwwooooooooohhhhhhhh! For what it's worth, though, as of this morning, I am down to needing only 89,271 points. I don't know where he is.

Is there a pilot in the Pack that goes by Go_Navy because I joined a game today with said pilot who by the way was flying [Wolf Pack] but wouldn't respond to my friendly Aaouououooooowwwww and then left the game. On another note, just saw on WC that Goldwolf is no longer a member of the Pack, dropped the [WP] from his/her name even. I'm going to post in "Question of the Week" later in regards to both these situations but first it's chow time. I will return.

I don't know that HGC has ever settled on a specific patch or squad name, or did I miss it? The patch you have has all three HG's on it, correct? As soon as I get a definitive answer I can modify the main page with the HGC patch. I would love to take care of that soon.
