Real Life has been at the forefront of my daily routines for a few weeks, and I appreciate your well wishes and encouragements in PM's throughout that time. My leg surgery was today to ablate some of my leaky veins. In short, the doc went into my leg with a heat source and sealed of the leakers. I'm hoping that this will be the ultimate fix for my apparently inherited condition. My hope is that the solution for my left leg will be as simple, but with what I've been told, that doesn't seem likely, because the deep vein system is the concern there. Unless the medical profession finds a way to stop reflux(leaking) in the deep vein, and if it continues to progress at the current rate, there's a good chance I'll lose the leg. ( who's ever heard of a Peg Leg Wizard?) Today's fix was for the superficial veins... a much easier fix.
So...with all that said...I hope to return to my day job within the next few weeks. Work has already reassigned me to a lower impact gig for when I return. When the time comes my productivity with hopefully remain in tact here at the Factory. In the event of any more serious issues, I will certainly keep you all in the loop of the happenings.
MYRLIN IS LOOKING FOR AN APPRENTICE
I've given some thought to the idea of having an apprentice help me here at the Factory. The reality of our growth and successes of our pilots, and the demand for banners and awards has increased to a level that, quite frankly, keeps me very busy. I am proud to be your Technical officer, and hope to continue at the current level. I am however, in need of assistance (even if my pride doesn't think so)
The creating of new artwork and Banner creation would still fall on me to complete. What I would be looking for is someone to assist me with day to day activities. Our Wolf Pack is growing and improving at a wonderful level of success. With such successes come awards and badges that are presented to the well deserving Wolf. My "Grasshopper" would have the duty (if so accepted) to make sure those awards were presented in a timely manner. I would provide you with access to my database of artwork, or have you be the Keeper of Codes to post in my absence. I would be encouraging your ideas for new designs for banners and/or awards. All final designs are always approved by Digger and Viper.
Perks to my offer include full access to my cooler full of our own Wolf Brew (for inspiration)and Wizard Snacks during your stay at the Lair. On occasion, my Dragon may be available for weekend ventures. I would discourage you however, from using Drago as an intimidation factor or to gain an edge in an ongoing feud with your noisy neighbor. He does love to go fly, and is a great sparring partner in the sky to hone your turn fighting skills.
If you (ANY LEVEL) are interested in working with me and for our great Wolf Pack, please submit your desire to do so to my inbox in the form of a PM. Although you need not have any previous experience, please let me know of any skills you may have that might assist us. I'd much rather have an enthusiastic helper that is willing to learn some magic.
With respect and love to all of my Wolf Pack Bretheren
Myrlin
AOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHOOOWWWWW
Myrlin, I have always said real life should be a priority, and you need to take care of yourself and your family before you worry about our squad. That being said I applaud your request for an apprentice and will make a spot for ATO (Assistant Technical Officer) on the squad main page.
Please advise when someone steps up to the task and I can modify the roster as required.
Myrlin, if there is ANYTHING I can do for you please don't hesitate to ask. I'm always here for you, brother.
