So this was a near epic Darwin Award contestant. A soldier dresses up as a suicide bomber for Halloween. He then walks on post at Ft. Bragg. For those who don't know, Ft. Bragg is home to US Army Special Forces. The guy caused a base lockdown and security response. Fortunately for him, those folks are pros and he was safely corralled. Unfortunately for the Darwin Awards, the most epic winner was robbed of his award!! Life is awesome. You just can't make this stuff up!!!

What a great game. I love bombing tanks. I love bombing hangers. I really like shooting up some reds and trying new maneuvers, which for hardly work. One thing that's equal to all that is the social aspect of the game. I play this game a lot. The only time I'm not on or in contact with someone is probably from midnight to 5 am. Good escape from reality sometimes.
The MOM guys are awesome as hell when they are around. Great guys in the game. MOM has the most history of any squad here and I got be apart of that and I can't thank law dog (TX LAWMAN)enough for it and brining me in.
Anyway, like I said, I really like the social aspect of the game and want to have fun with the game again. So at this point I'm going to step down as a MOM. I hope no hard feelings gents. I just want my escape from reality to fun and social again.

I must confess that I tried this trick on my eldest son a couple of years ago. He cried and blubbed for a while, then stabbed me in the eye with a pencil. I had no idea he could move that fast, but then remembered that he was 20 years old. How quickly they grow up!

Sorry about the news Walleye. Take a breath and pause for a couple of days before you jump into another squad. You might have second thoughts. Whatever you decide, all the best to you.

Rudolph, if you mean 'how do we rebuild the squad?' then I suppose we should decide what we want the squad to be. I'm happy with a small band of like minded old men struggling with technology, but I'm also happy to be out there shamelessly recruiting like a used car salesman! It's really up to you stalwarts who rode out the storm. I'm the prodigal son who probably doesn't yet deserve a vote.

We need to be on the forum and playing the game. Of course Ronnie Biggs gets a vote despite being a legendary law breaker. The squad has to be about socializing. I enjoy interacting with folks from all over the world. We took some tough hits with TBO (the banned one) and Crazys passing. I'm fine with slow quality growth, but I like catching games with M.O.Ms. I don't want to tell people to subscribe, but it is easier to catch games together when we do. I'm still here!

Oh oh....please don't remind me....I'm having flashbacks of sitting in my freezing shipping container, trying to find unblocked websites, high on red bull, eating bacon flavour potato chips....OMG, the horror!
Meanwhile, in the next valley, those pious Pashtun clerics responsible for my misery oversee the manufacture of 40% of the world's opium, abuse their women and children and drink imported Johnnie Walker at $200 a bottle. Now you've really got me started!

Watched an awesome movie tonight. Some of you know I love cult movies and have my own little banner craft shop. There's no doubt who this banner's for, but can you name the movie, the character and the actor? We can then move on to which was better? This gritty version or the original John Wayne epic.

It is True Grit. The character was Matt Damon's Texas Ranger. Cool banner!

I'm about to blaspheme here. I'm not a big John Wayne fan. I hated the Rooster Cogburn sequel. But, I actually like the original. I felt like Cogburn was the first time I really saw The Duke act, and it was great. I like Jeff Bridges, he is The Dude after all. I liked the remake, too. I'll go classic here though.
