I am still waiting for pm's from ruusso & JFK & MonFlix for banner ideas/requests.. if you see them pass the word.

If you are going to make their own or get one from the banner factory I just ask that 'Lafayette Escadrille' is written in Edwardian Script somewhere on their banner along with our squadron insignia (or something that has a indian chief/warbonnet or something similar.. Flix's banner is fine if he just wants to keep using it.)

As you can see both on our 1st post here as well as on Flix's banner there is an official flag for the Lafayette Escadrille.

Well when I 1st discovered it I counted the stars & wondered about their significance.. so I found where the flag is displayed and contacted the museum's research division and here was their reply:

Thank you for contacting the National Museum of the United States Air Force. We cannot confirm the significance of the 65 stars on the Lafayette Escadrille banner. We can confirm the number neither represents the individual pilots or confirmed victories. We apologize that more information is not immediately available.

I should also have already hit 4:1 k/d.. stupid slow planes glitch! grrr!

Does it seem like lag in games is getting worse? For a few days now I see more and more planes flying backwards, disappearing or taking multiple hits and not going down. When I get into a game like that it's difficult to play, so I leave. Are others having problems too, or is it just me? It might be my connection or my server provider, so I'm just checking.

Hey Don, check your interent connection speed, there are plenty of free downloads for that. It is has been increasing more and more. You will see comments about it on pilot chat.

RT, thanks for responding. My speed is usually 3.05 download, 0.64 upload and a Ping of 60-90. That has been my figures since I started, but it could change from time to time depending on my service provider. I'll just kep an eye on it, but I'll continue to leave games where I see a lot of strange stuff going on. It's difficult to play when planes disapear or when you hit them many times over and they don't go down. It's better to wait a while or try a different server on DF. Thanks again for your insight.

Hey y'all £'s, I just want to say I had a great bomb the carrier game earlier & kudos to ishan agarwal.. tough competitor with no quit in him. When I had some reds drop on me and shoot me down a few times, well then I went on a killing rampage. All the reds quit the game except for him.. he remained tough all the way to the end.

6 more days to go, we are getting closer lol. I'll have been lvl 29 for almost a month (25 days). Lvl 30 is gonna take over one month. But at least i'll be MORAF at the end of July/beginning of August lol

Hey does anyone know what happened to Federico Italy & GeneralDollar? I know what happened to FlyingHorse and he will be rejoining us when he returns.

Has anyone seen or spoken to these 2 pilots? Should we remove them from our flight roster or put them into a reserve status or just wait?? Federico doesn't even show in our squadron roster in the game (same as FlyingHorse, but that was just a update glitch) & General Dollar I haven't seen since he joined us months ago.. Chime in with your opinions okay?



And yeah, I still have my slow as molasses plane glitch, but I AM Zebra and deadly even in a slow free plane!

Ziza & FADACO are two of the finest dogfighters I have ever gone up against...
The only other pilots that are in the same league as them in pure dogfighting are tKestrel & McFate & VonHulk & Whiplash & BlueMaX & Calle & Vampire & Dr Dave & Wig & 420 & SkyDavis & XxXxX & SkyStorm & a few others...

If you see any of these pilots as red? You're screwed... just saying.

Debo confesar que al principio cuando Andrea me mostró el juego nos arrebatábamos el ipad cada que nos derribaban, nos peleábamos para jugar, nos peleábamos sobre el realismo del juego, sobre que algunas maniobras reales no se pueden hacer, nos estrellamos varias veces jajajajaja. Después ella fue la única que lo jugaba, y cuando sucedió el problema de su familia, me quedé con el ipad. Aprendimos juntos, pero ya tenemos una larga historia jugando juegos de simulador de aviones

Even teams when I entered yet the Reds shot me down twice while incoming with a bomb.. most (if not all) of the reds were bombless according to my teammates.. well on the 3rd run I punched thru & got 2 of their hangars with my 1 bomb... then you know what time it was?? CAMPING TIME! 11 kills later as I gave total cover to my team until 1/2 the reds had left & I went bingo ammo.

Yes I advocate camping! I don't approve of it in a lopsided game, but when I get nailed by reds sans bombs.. well if I DO make it thru to bomb?? Then it's ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!

Kudos to my team (our Trey was one of 'em) AND to JamieDrummer2 & St.George as a reds... they didn't whine or moan but just kept slugging it out until the end despite 1/2 their team leaving 'em! Excellent Warriors!

Monument can be found on the highest mountain in the Norhtwest (behind German base). Hard to land on it, took me several tries.
