Flying with honour is our business and business is good!
Silly season continues with a vengeance, I just wish pool tables and air-hockey tables could be made out of polystyrene. Balancing them on your shoulder to deliver them would be a lot easier! In my line of work, this time of year is a real challenge, it sorts the boys from the men. The men crack on and get the job done, the boys rise to the challenge and then need a few days off to recover!
People get a bit daft in the head over here, it makes me wonder if the same happens in other countries. Let me explain and perhaps you good folks could enlighten me. Currently, I am delivering a lot of DIY stuff, everything from new interior doors and pallets of floor / wall tiles to new bathroom suites and baths / shower trays. The amount of new carpets and laminate flooring I have delivered is just plain daft! It baffles me why you would redecorate your house and make home improvements right before you get all the family round to have a knees-up and wreck the joint!
I reckon all this madness has to come from the minds of females! No offence to any females out there, just trying to make sense of my observations by theoretical logic! Being a bloke, I would wait until the new year before making major purchases and improvements as I know that things can get messy when Uncle Bob (for instance) has a bit too much 'Christmas cheer'! My wife, however, wants everything to look perfect and lovely before the family descend upon us. OK, fair enough, make a good impression, but this causes undue costs and stress. Mainly for me, when I have to redo and fix all the work I put in before the holiday season to keep her happy!
It just goes to prove the old adage:- Women! You can't live with them but you can't live without them! As I always say to my Good Lady Wife, "Missus, you are a right pain in the 'Arris, but it's a pain I would never like to be without!
We have an excellent reputation within the community for being some of the toughest pilots in the game. When facing tough competition we do not quit, we fight as hard as we can until the end! This gives you valuable experience fighting against long odds and makes you a much better pilot. Don't worry about your KDR, that is irrelevant. Respect from other pilots for never giving up is worth a whole lot more than stats!
As a growing squad, always remember to keep your eyes open for new talent. If you are impressed with a pilot in-game, steer them our way! Being a Global squad, there is usually an Air Marshall available 24 hours a day.
Keep spreading the word about the forum, we want as many G.I's visiting our pages as possible.
Just one last thing,
