I just want to take a moment to thank all the GI's who came over and flew with the Wolf Pack the last week. What a great program and fun time it was.

I also would like to extend the invitation indefinitely. Any time one of you fine GI's wants to join us for a week, just post up in the forum. We would be happy to sponsor any one of you. Nothing but great reports from all the wolves who joined you for a week as well.

You've been invited to join a very respected and respectable squad.

We are glad that you made the choice to join Gunners Inc.

We have a few rules that may or may not be easily found.

1) Gunners NEVER quit- finish the game, you may be outnumbered, you may be outgunned, you may be frustrated as he((, finish the game. What you lose in Deaths you gain in RESPECT

2) Respect other pilots- There are thousands of pilots in this game, many of them are excellent pilots, some of them might not be nice people, but we need to show respect to everyone, above and below your talent level.

3) Encourage your Squadmates- There will be games where other Gunners are in Red, cheer for your squadmate if he does something good in the game, use the in-game chat to let them (and others) know that Gunners stick together, even on opposite teams.

4) Play the GAME- Dogfight is divided into numerous mission games. In bombing games (Bomb the Base, Bomb the Carrier), keep your bombs as long as you can, unless defending your base or carrier. In capture games (flag or carrier) drop as soon as you are clear of other pilots. In Dogfight games, you have the option, if you are up against better pilots and need to drop to survive, do so. If you are against lower level pilots, keep your bomb(s) and challenge yourself. In Bombing missions, getting a TANK can be a big part of the game and can really change the game, however, there may be times when you are offered a tank in a previously off-limits area. If you've played, you have a good idea where "Enemy Territory" is. As Gunners, if you land in Enemy Territory and are offered the tank, do your best to fight the temptation to take it (there are exceptions, see below), this is known as a "Glitch" and is unfair to the other pilots in the game. Another no-go is Camping or Spawn-Killing, this is another unfair tactic that most will consider to be "Bad-Form" within the game.

5) Exceptions- Very rarely will Gunners "sink" to poor tactics. In these cases, we find ourselves in games against players that regularly take the Tank Glitch, spawn-kill, drop their bombs to gain an advantage, or sneak in an uneven game. Most pilots in Dogfight will not do these things, so we must be very selective if we retaliate in any way.

Gunners Inc. enjoys a good reputation as fair, hard-fighting, excellent pilots... most often the only thing that is remembered by other pilots about a game is that "The pilot from Gunners Inc. was kicking butt..." The name of the pilot is not always mentioned, but the squad name is.

Do your best to make the name of Gunners Inc. better every time you fly!

I would make an exception to this. Just yesterday I was in a game, but had to leave because of my battery level, and I really needed to eat.

Yes I don't leave if frustrate, outnumbered, etc. but sometimes you just have to leave, especially in those LONG games.

Yes I don't leave if frustrate, outnumbered, etc. but sometimes you just have to leave, especially in those LONG games.

Fair point E*A*G*L*E, however in this case, I don't classify that as "Quitting"...

Battery, spouse, kids, work, are all responsibilities that we need to attend to outside of the game.

My definition of Quitting is leaving because you are outnumbered, out-gunned or just having a bad day and you decide to leave to protect a fragile ego. So I believe you're safe there...

sitting in his smoking plane on the runway of our Carrier.
Two Red Moraf slaughtered US while the Rest of us were trying to defent our ship.
They did their job, what plu did was just bs!
So i quit. ..

Pluribus is worthless in the game, he rarely flies and often suffers from "diarrhea of the mouth" It doesn't stop running.

There is no shame in calling him on his BS

There are times he plays, but only when he can get in a sneaking run

That's the 9nly time plur does play, is when he can sneak, other times he sits on his runway and tells his team there's no point were outnumbered and out gunned

I've been in a few of those games where he sits and complains nonstop. I have wondered if it's his poor tactic of attention-getting and filing the sky with words that block a good shot. He's turned an active game into a spectator sport that he narrates.

I have even announced to my team that I'm turning off chat and that seemed to work.

another week done here at Gunners Inc. i've enjoyed a few good late night games and the competition has been fierce as always. we have some movements to report on this week.

taking the headline is wing 1's R E Z takes the #3 spot! congrats congrats congrats! it is good to see such a supreme effort on the part of our wisest pilots.

other notable rank ups come from Talon127 taking the #16 spot, SavageViking moves up to #25 and Grim Repo makes a hop up to #29.

great job to all of our listed pilots and to all of our G.I's who fight hard in the skies every day!

Odd group of new players these days.

It's a mix of those who are working hard to learn to fly and bomb--which I offer tips and help. But the second group wants to do anything but play the game. I've seen players wanting to race on carrier and get upset if you bomb it. Huh?

Just now I was up against what seemed like all the Misftis and Bici from WP--excellent group of pilots. I was fighting hard and a noob on my team was giggling about hiding in our carrier. What?

Oh well, I was still proud I was able to bring down Davy and Tbuilt before my carrier went up in smoke. Small victories!

I should have taken a shower tonight, because I was in a game and all the blues kept leaving, only left me alone against 4 reds, one of which was Infernal. Finally I got some help, so it was 2:4, then a few more entered so it was 4:4 again, only to have them all leave me alone. ugghhhhh

To top it off, at one point it was 2:4 and I was with a lower ranked guy, and one of the reds started to sneak around. I don't have a problem with sneaking, but do it when it's fair, not when you outnumber the other team.

On the very tip top, one of the blues decided to team kill me. He said he was sorry and it was an accident, however there wasn't a red in sight or on radar, we both just took off from the base, and he started laying down a stream of bullets. It was clearly intentional.

hello g.i's time for some exciting news!

leadership of G.I has always been split between 3 people to ensure all big decisions for the team are discussed and agreed upon. SLAYERinc has held the 3rd seat for quite a long time. he is one of the founders of the squad so i felt it was only right to keep his position intact. however...

slayer doesnt come around much anymore so it's been decided that Pinkstar30 will be promoted up to full squad MORAF. this will also give the benefit of each squad leader owning their own wing. i think pink deserves the promotion and will serve us well. congrats pink!
